This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

How can they be put in a prison if they’re not allowed to enter the country? Is it a prison built in the sea? Is the idea to imprison everyone without a court case / trial in this sea prison?

When we know for a fact that there are murderers of women on the boat, then no, they should not be allowed into the country and given freedom. They should all be held until the perpetrators can be identified and if they cannot be identified, we should continue to hold them in custody and returned them all. Are you content to have murderers enter Britain?

Your anger needs to be directed at the traffickers who sell these people a dream and make it seem that they can come here and set up a life for their families to safely come over.

Multiple people die on these journeys every time.
Even those who survive are usually severely dehydrated and have infections.
Women and children are less likely to do these journeys because they are the ones most likely to die.

I don’t think anyone should go to any country undocumented and we cannot take in millions of immigrants now we have left the EU and less people can emigrate.

However, it’s not the desperate people risking their lives on boats to provide for their women and children back home that I feel any anger towards.

How do these people get 'checked' as they come in? If they claim to come from Eritrea or Sudan how is that 'checked' by UK BF? Do they have access to systems in those countries so we can 'check' they aren't rapists or murderers?

Look at our most recently elected PM. He (Burnham) dumped Manchester to get an MP role then was put into the PM position by his own party. It depends what sort of 'immigration' you're talking about. The Tories made plans to restrict legal immigration while still in office. These are now taking effect.
