Everyday phrases that piss me off

As the title goes , a couple of examples:

It only costs xxx - What an incredibly ignorant thing to say in this day and age of mass inequality. On any given day there's a bullshit thread on here comparing pension plans and the amount of hundreds of thousands people have saved compared to the ones who have nothing saved.

Well I've never seen/heard that before - well Jackie, I've never seen anyone abuse a wheelchair user or a trans person or a Jewish person in my own life, but I believe that it happens, despite my not witnessing it.

Feel free to rant about other stuff that people are willfully oblivious to.

Agree with so many of these.

Mostly from social media, but these all infuriate me:

Protecting my peace
Our hearts are so full
Navigating
People “carrying” feelings and situations instead of dealing with them
Likwise feelings and situations being “heavy” instead of being hard or a lot to deal with
Nervous systems and regulation of them
The need to “elevate” outfits, etc
Overuse of “space” for everything

I could go on for days, and haven’t even started on corporate waffle yet.

I don't get people being annoyed by common expressions and patterns of speech. For those of you who don't get out much and meet other people, using similar language and patterns of speech is part of how human beings gel and relate to one another. Glad I don't go round being perpetually irritated by it. I'd love to hear how the language police posting here speak. I bet they use words and phrases which are annoying to others.

Well, strictly the correct answer to "Can I have a pint of lager?" is just "Yes" or "No". But funnily enough, all bar staff know that by that request you are intending that they provide one for you in return for payment.
