AIBU to think the trend for Lingerie lace and silk as outer wear is really odd?
Everywhere I look there’s cheap lace appliquéd onto skirts and t shirts.

Then today I saw bra’s, as t-shirt motif’s.

AIBU to think this trend is awful.

Quite easy to just not wear it yourself. Or did you come here for a good bitch about other women?

Women’s fashion is generally about men and the way they view women.

Young women wearing this stuff are just following the male fashion designers

I think she looks pretty good. Great tan, shapeley strong legs….what offends you? Broderie anglais all over 😁. Don’t google, there’s also one of her smiling in denim hot pants too. I still think they look great on her too

I think she looks great!

After that scene in The Inbetweeners thank god the side testicle trend didn’t catch on 🫣

Perhaps we should encourage the lads to bring it back! 😂

I saw something on social media over the weekend - woman looking for a wedding guest dress. Beautiful Gucci (I think) number in a bronzy shade, she looked beautiful in it but it had a weird sewn in visible white bra. Totally spoiled the look of a beautiful dress.

A spikey apricot pom-pom?!😂
Please explain!!!! 🙂

I with you if you mean Farah Fawcett 1970's hair? Years ago I asked for a Farah Fawcett-inspired cut. Loved. It. I tend to get really '70's inspired: blue suede trench in my wardrobe and I always go for over-sized sunglasses.
I like the idea of a boa (!!!) mentioned somewhere here as well. 🤗😀🥳

😭😭😭😭 deleted last part - wrong thread.

I love your style, madam! Am very glad your deleted comment wasn't for this thread 😂 I mean, there's bum-scrunch leggings and then there's ... that.

I don't know. A lot of 90s fashion came from vintage shops - we were all wearing velvet jackets at one point, as well as the slip dresses and the boas, I remember a brief fad for evening gloves- and the designers were following the existing trends rather than vice versa. I think we were doing it for joy, not for men, although at that age of course you probably want to pull as well.

I also used to wear M and S nighties as club dresses, with a boa and sandals.

I am pissing myself laughing, and I salute you for your honesty.

In the 80,s I once wore my dads pyjama bottoms because they matched a blouse i had, fastened at the waist with a broad cummerband, stilletto heels and lace gloves.

This photo of Liz Taylor? I always think this photo says…having the best sex of my life

No, because the one I am thinking of wasn't lacy, and she had just split up from Richard Burton at the time.

True. I see a lot more side boob than side testicle.

I love this and it’s true
