To be pissed off with my husband. I said how upset I am that the child abuse and rape leaflet from the government is judged as necessary and we are continuing to let these men into our country who pose a threat to women. He just shrugged - I said doesn’t it bother you these men are coming into our society. We have daughters , I am a woman. I absolutely do not feel safe anymore where we live and would not walk on my own anymore. He said no not really. Absolutely furious with him. Does he not have to care as he’s a big tall man? I’m so pissed off, I’ve walked off and he’s given me the ick.

So on balance it seems like quite a lot of pp would support a ban on men entering from
Afghanistan. What would you do with arrivals, immediately deport to Afghanistan?

On balance people want as much as a background check on these men as possible.

Not only from Afghanistan as things aren’t much better in Sudan or the Congo, Somalia and many Nigerian people are now been raped, murdered on beheaded.

There needs to be a full psychological evaluation carried out, root deep into the background, men from these cultural groups who have been through trauma are being let settle amongst communities, they should be detained until they are processed.

The religious warfare in Nigeria, now 50/50 Christian’s and Muslims is beyond our worst nightmare. There certainly won’t be 50% Christian in the next 5 years at the rate they’re being murdered.

Yes, they said something like they were simply informing people of our laws because how else would they know. It is not the same as saying that migrants are more likely to break tbe law. It’ll cost less than two or three years accommodation in a hotel, before moving to a HMO with a life long benefits system if they decide they can’t be bothered working, maternity costs when they bring the wife over, school costs, it costs a lot more using the current system.

I would think that all men everywhere know that rape is not ok. That is just basic. I have not said that I think some men might not realise this about rape.

Personallky, I’m not convinced this leaflet is a good idea. I think it was a political move by the government to make it look like they are addressing people’s concerns about rape and women’s safety. I think it has backfired on them. I’m not sure why they thought it would go down well with the public. I’m only guessing.

I have addressed this in my PPs .The Taliban regime turns a blind eye to rape. Most of the Afghan population hate the Taliban. I would like to bet that ordinary Afghans hate rape just as much as you and me and any other half decent people.

Failed asylum in a European country should not be able to access another European country. if he was in a processing centre that lady would not be slashed 39 times.

What story? The story about the man living in the hotel 3 years? Hardly news. There are 1000’s of people living in many hotels since 2022 in Ireland under the international protection scheme.

As was proven a few years back when an Asian woman in my local shopping centre called me 'a piece of white trash'. My crime?
