One of the only good things the DM ever did was their campaign for justice for Stephen Lawrence. It's a shame for Doreen that she has found herself on the end of a hefty bill for taking them to court, really. Particularly as it looks like they'll be coving millions each due to extra costs awarded for their litigation choices... I read a very sad interview with Neville Lawrence recently, where he was remembering their support. Just quite a sad story arc for the DM and Doreen, going from the defender to the enemy in such a public way and on seemingly false evidence in the end. Harry isn't worth my interest; he's a useless tosser like his brother and his dad. The world would be better if they all fucked off down a dark hole and stayed their bickering in private and were never heard of again.

Apparently their own costs are potentially over £20m and the DMs are over £34m, with the litigants insurance up to £16m. That's a potentially bloody expensive mistake, even split between 8 people. I'm intrigued in how the costs end up awarded as DM have been granted costs above usual.

That family doesn't exactly qualify for the league of purity in this respect. This is not to exclude Harry himself. But the absolute conviction that he most definitely must be lying doesn't account for any other possibility whatsoever. Maybe he's telling at least some variation of the truth.

It's not as though that family doesn't have a documented track-record of racism that's about a mile wide. It's right there, in print and pixels. Grandpa was hardly a great role model in that regard, was he?

The Daily Mail is a cancer, their coverage of anything H&M is nothing short of demented. A quick glance at the comments under any of the thousands of articles they've written about them makes me genuinely fearful about the kind of people who walk among us. I genuinely don't think they'll be happy until there's a divorce or death.

I am just glad that press freedom to investigate the great, the good, celebrities and the pretty infamous has been maintained. Prince Harry and his co-litigants wanted to gag the press. This has been an ongoing demand every time something a celebrity wants to keep secret - often because it is to their discredit - gets into the press. Serve them right for wanting privileges the rest of us don't get. I daresay the King will pay. Doubt Prince Harry has the money tbh and that's why they are coming back here (though keeping the Montecito house, apparently) as well as the fact that they have not been accepted as A listers and every project they have floated (except the lies, which have made money) has stumbled to a dismal failure.

Presumably, the children will attend school like the other royals and although the press can't publish photos of them, people will get to know who they are and their identity (faces) will no longer be a secret - which would compromise their safety, surely?

You do know the Daily Mail were thoroughly cleared in court? Why wouldn’t you side with those who have been forced to incur huge expenses at the hands of a few wealthy vindictive people taking them to court with no evidence just a hatred for the press?

Do you generally belief the wealthy should be able to silence a free press? This including Harry who was quite happy to make a fortune off the back of private details about others, including private individuals with no public presence.
