To be a bit gleeful about Harry's court case

Serves him right. He's made millions from Netflix, book deals and accusing them of being racist. Bit odd he's now coming back.

Will the King pay his debts.I hope not. Now the long suffering public will be fleeced for his security costs which will be around £5m a yea r. And they wonder why they are unpopular.

Unfortunately @Viviennemaryand @Ablondiebutagoodyare diehard H&M haters.
It's extremely sad that adults who don't know or will never meet H&M have such vitriol spewing out of them.
It's like the DM today apparently 15 pages, yes 15! all dedicated to this couple who are basically moving house.
Totally unhinged behaviour of which the two mentioned above appear to be revelling in.
More to be pitied than anything else.

RoniaCheetah · 21/08/2026 16:24

Do you feel the same about Elton John OP? What about Doreen Lawrence? They were co claimants and also owe this money amongst others.

It's ghoulish how so many people on here and joyously rubbing their hands with glee at any perceived misfortune of Harry it Meghan. Seriously, get a hobby or a life of your own. Ghouls.

Its not us who has put them at the very beginning of the BBC news yesterday. Putin bombing Ukraine and threatening the UK. No. Its those two making the headlines Ukraine was second. So don't blame posters. Harry and Meghan being forced down our throats at every turn I thought they wanted privacy.

People like you starting threads to waffle on about them is what’s keeping them appearing on the BBC front page though, you are keeping them current and popular even with your pointless hate.

Including poor Doreen Lawrence. As if she hasn't been through enough.

Iirc, they've got collective insurance that covers some of it, but they'll still have to pay a big chunk.

Would that be poor Doreen who offered to change her evidence for £650000 ?
or poor Doreen who moved her sons body without consulting the father

The bit that I can't fathom is why it's predominantly those who are big royal fans who hate the Sussexes. It seems weird that they're filled with adoration for all of them bar Harry.

I'm a republican, so I find it amusing and don't really take any of it seriously. To me, it's no more significant than the Beckham family falling out.

Yes. I have hidden numerous threads already, because of the constant sniping going on. It is beyond me, why so-called Adults can be so nasty about people who have nothing to do with them, and have done nothing to them.

Chatterboxy · 21/08/2026 16:34

How can you be so gleeful about someone you don’t know personally. 🤷‍♀️
you don’t sound like a very nice person at all.

No they are not being forced down anyone's throat, unless they want them to be. I manage to get through my day without being bothered by Harry, and Meghan. Maybe you should try it!

I take it you are new to MN then.

Other people lost too, or does that not figure in your brain? Sad, but not surprising.

Yes. Even though it's the DM

No, not at all. 🙄

Any1ForTennis · 21/08/2026 16:39

I was disappointed he lost tbh. Not a fan of H&M but the media in this country are horrendous. They have ruined so many people's lives and deserved to lose, just a shame there was no hard evidence.

It also goes to prove again that the little people cannot stand up against the big people as the potential monetary loss is not worth the risk. This was also evident with The Post Office scandal.

Don't read it then.

How low to say something like that. He cannot help going bald. That is just so nasty.

I think he should get a toupee and wear it at a slightly odd angle on his head.

kellygoeswest · 21/08/2026 16:46

Seems kind of weird and parasocial to feel "gleeful" over this

CarrieOakie · 21/08/2026 16:50

Ablondiebutagoody · 21/08/2026 15:44

If he doesn't want publicity, why get his publicist to place the stories about their return in the papers? Surely not to generate a bit of a frenzy to justify us picking up his multi million pound annual security bill.

Fucking balding, grifting, morally superior, bell end.

Its not about publicity its about the tactics of the newspapers, doing dirty scummy things to make news.

intercepting your phone messages, data blagging, secret tracking devices and listening devices in peoples private homes and corrupt payments to people to get your personal information

would you be unhappy with any of the listed above
Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish, Sir Simon Hughes, Sadie Frost, Liz Hurley, and Baroness Doreen Lawrence all have taken on the newspaper and lost

But others have had the same treatment but have not had the money to take this to court

the daily mail receives around 80% of the complaints to the Independent Press Standards Organisation

Sartre · 21/08/2026 16:51

Why on earth would anyone side with the daily fail?

Bollihobs · 21/08/2026 16:54

VestibuleWeaver · 21/08/2026 15:36

You’re siding with the Daily Mail against him, and others?

Well tbf so did the Judge.

A UK High Court judge ordered Prince Harry and six other high-profile claimants to pay an initial £9.5 million ($13 million) in legal costs by August 28, 2026, after they completely lost their privacy and unlawful information-gathering lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL). Judge Mr Justice Matthew Nicklin dismissed all 97 allegations brought across the various claims on July 7, 2026. Core Reason: The judge ruled that the claimants failed to prove their pleaded allegations.

And Harry's reaction was basically that ANL should have had to prove their innocence rather than the accepted "innocent until proven guilty" which is a shockingly basic misunderstanding of the UK legal system.

emuloc · 21/08/2026 15:42

I also trust that he knows more about his own family, then the public, who seem to think that they know the royal family.

Harry hand Megan have told so many lies and contradicted them on numerous times they can’t keep up with it.

EverythingIsComputer · 21/08/2026 16:56

Have you ever though about volunteering OP?

emuloc · 21/08/2026 16:56

I had a feeling that they would lose the case. The behemoth, that is the press, has been allowed to employ disgusting tactics, to get a story for decades. They lie to the public, constantly, and push whatever agenda, they want to, manipulating the public constantly.

Benjithedog · 21/08/2026 16:56

VestibuleWeaver · 21/08/2026 15:47

You’re criticising him for balding? Pathetic.

But the rest is true
