That really. I mean it's not like they are loved here whether it comes to family or the public. I think Harry might genuinly want to live in England whereas his wife is looking for the attention and money.

They have their reasons to return, so what if they do.

They are allegedly keeping the house in Montecito. And they have one in Portugal. This is all about Harry losing the privacy case and the huge bill he is facing - details either today or tomorrow. Pa is bailing him out.

If you had been on social media lately, its pretty bloody hateful all around. America is also awful so no option is good, people have just turned into hateful arseholes with those in political power literally encouraging hate and racism in both America and the UK, so I would say none of these places are particularly appealing.

His dad has cancer. I'd say that's a completely normal thing to do in that circumstance.

I think she was signing up for a certain lifestyle & didn’t understand what the RF is about. The baby shower was a definite turning point for the Queen, with Princess Kardashian.

I can understand why Harry wants to come back. He seemed lost out there.
I am not sure why Meghan does. Montecito is a place where celebs can move around quite freely. She won’t have that here and the DM will be on call 24/7 to either take photos arranged by her (hello Backgrid!) or they will write mean pieces about her.
It is possible they just don’t have the money to fund the lifestyle.
It is also possible that KC is quite ill now and wants some peace with his son.
Of course they did the whole freedom flight thing, Oprah, Spare etc and caused offence. But I don’t think they really do the egg in face thing. They style it out.
Where will they live? It’s possible KC has offered them a funded residence. Not sure about security.
I think Meghan has underestimated how much a section of the public dislikes her. God help her if Mavis the disgruntled GB News viewer corners her in Waitrose.

No one on mumsnet knows the reason why they are moving to the UK.

Maybe it’s a money thing, maybe Charles is very ill, maybe the family have mended rifts behind closed doors and they want the children to become close to their family, maybe their priorities have changed now the children are getting older, maybe Harry is very homesick, maybe it’s the British education they’re interested in.

Honestly who knows. I can understand the interest in them, even people disliking them.

But the venom and hatred is so weird. There are far worse people in the world to dislike than Harry and Meghan.

Whatever your opinion of them, it is hard to see how they are funding their California lifestyle now that the book is not selling in the numbers it did, the Netflix deal is over and there is only so much jam one person can sell.

Their kids will grow up being nobodies in the USA. My guess is that the kids being a Prince and Princess in England will give Meghan the star power (and 💰) she is yearning for…… since her A list Hollywood celeb and jam making didn’t quite work out how she dreamt.
