the asylum system was set up when many people in Europe were seeking asylum. Britain could leave the system if it wanted to - and that would mean no more violent people from war zones coming here - but many people feel that it’s an important system to have to help people.

It's bizarre to me that people actually try to argue that men from places like Sudan, Eritrea, Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia etc aren't more of a risk to women, given how women in those places are treated. It's utterly nonsensical. I have to think they know how ridiculous they're being, but they persist anyway. Why?

I don't think people entering the UK getting these leaflets is a bad thing really, if it stops just a handful of young men that were raised to disrespect women then good. That would be great, I personally know households in London were because of cultural differences women are less respected. Some of my friends were raised in those houses.

My ideal would be give foreign migrants these leaflets in whatever language they read in bit also make sure they are kept in a place whilst reading them. Afterwards get them to sign a document saying they read and understood the leaflets. That way nobody can claim a sexual attack was down to cultural differences in court, which is a defence men try to use.

I want to make it clear that I don't believe all foreign nationals are a danger but I do think we need to control who is entering the country and be proactive at removal of criminals in order to protect ourselves.

Why is it racist to not want thousands of men from mysoginistic cultures to come here? They will have passed through plenty of safe countries to get here so why not claim asylum in one of those?
