I know. it's so depressing, expected though of course. I can't work out if its blatant stupidity, or nefarious. I think it's stupidity a lot of the time, but also nefarious a lot too, tbh. Handmaidens be kind etc, then stupid people, but also men who know it's another way to control women. Same happened with twaw didn't it.

i remember the days when the sun would do a countdown of the days until a particular celebrity was aged 16 and could legally have sex. Rinse and repeat, very very frequently. Emma Watson and Charlotte church were both subjected to this.

so few rapes are prosecuted and convicted that frankly those stats tell you more about which groups of men are stupid enough to leave evidence then anything else.

Fair enough - that was my honest opinion. I can't see why else people are enabling sex assaults on women and girls (and now old men). And I Really can't see how people can't understand proportionality. Unless it's on purpose.

People are not trying to enable sex assaults on women and girls - quite the opposite, as the existence of this leaflet shows. I don't see how a piece of information designed to explain how the laws are different in the UK at the first possible opportunity can be anything other than an attempt to help women and girls.

I found this data table. It is by ethnicity though, not nationality.

Possibly an attempt to attempt to be seen to be helping women and girls. A bit like trying to fix a broken leg by putting a plaster on it I suppose.

Why would a Romanian or Polish worker be seeking asylum? You’ve jumped a shark by conflating foreign nationals with asylum seekers. There’s a good chance many of the foreign nationals committing rapes are foreign students on University campuses.

Agree. I don’t know why anyone would defend so many young men, who need these things explaining to them, coming into the country. That we have such problems with men already here isn’t a valid reason to bring in more. When women (and increasingly men), can no longer walk the streets for fear of sexual assault maybe the penny will drop. But it will be far too late.

Well obviously, this reflects the demographic make up of the UK. Why is that a reason to allow men in from potentially incompatible misogynistic cultures when it comes to women/homosexuality? We have our own home grown arseholes that we can’t do much about, why let in more?

I also work in criminal justice (nearly 20 years, 5 years spent in sexual offending) and the amount of offending by foreign nationals is going through the roof and putting an unbelievable strain on services where I am. Nationals from Sudan, Eritrea to name a couple. HTH.

I say this all the time. There are bad men in the west. That's horrific. No need to import men from nations that are even worse.
