AIBU to think if we need to politely ask men not to rape women (or men), then we don't want such people in the UK?

Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.

I don't see why this is a big deal. If they tell people they're not allowed to do this, then when they claim ignorance in any corporate proceedings, they can be told that that bollocks.

Missing the point somewhat.

The point being that this is the government admitting that the undocumented mass numbers of young male asylum seekers entering the UK are a sexual threat to women and girls in the UK.

That and the fact Mahmood has said they can't be housed near schools.

She had a fatwa put on her for speaking out against Islam and her journalist friend was fatally stabbed with a message attached to the knife (left in his chest) saying something like "you're next".

Ahh, the religion of peace.

What about a pamphlet aimed at British males, especially those who are now waiting for early release following domestic violence and sexual offences? Perhaps in simplified English at reading level of 9-11 years old or lower, as it's the average reading age in the UK

Nobody is stopping you from producing one if thats what you want to do. Get on with it.

We have our own criminals and abusers. Don't need to import more men from a worse nation.

@nomashere you go, a link to the original publication following a freedom of information request made to the CPS:

https://www.cps.gov.uk/foi/2025/number-individuals-prosecuted-and-convicted-rape-offences-england-wales-2024-2025-broken

Now, are you going to answer my questions?

I won’t hold my breath.

That report doesn't have the number of convictions per 10,000 of population.

You've written reams of paraghraphs on the thread but can't supply the data.

I was quite shocked to hear about that. It made me wonder if the perpetrator was latently homosexual, just wanted to have sex with something/anything, or whether it was an intended act of debasement.

I remember being surprised to hear that in some African countries (often amongst the most homophobic cultures) that male rape is a common tool used by soldiers to suppress the men of conquered villages. I remember a man explaining how the general/warlord had anally raped him while he was held face down by soldiers. It wasn't seen as a homosexual act. The shame was on the victim.

Grim stuff by all accounts.

Afghanistan's subculture of paedophilia is one of the country's untold shames

This phenomenon presents a system of gender reversal in Afghanistan. Whereas rural Pashtun culture remains largely misogynistic and male-dominated due to deeply-ingrained Islamic values, teenage boys have become the objects of lustful attraction and romance for some of the most powerful men in the Afghan countryside.

Demeaning and damaging, the widespread subculture of paedophilia in Afghanistan constitutes one of the most egregious ongoing violations of human rights in the world. The adolescent boys who are groomed for sexual relationships with older men are bought — or, in some instances, kidnapped — from their families and thrust into a world which strips them of their masculine identity. These boys are often made to dress as females, wear makeup, and dance for parties of men. They are expected to engage in sexual acts with much older suitors, often remaining a man's or group's sexual underling for a protracted period.

You don't want the data. You don't want the facts. You want to pretend that its not happening when it is.

"We see through you" is identical to "we/I see you" in terms of intent and meaning. Its literally the same thing.

Same turn of phrase, same context. Its not threatening when you say it though, its only threatening when you're struggling in a debate and you need to fabricate a means of side-stepping the hammering you're taking.

you need to fabricate a means of side-stepping the hammering you're taking.

Thanks for the laugh. Would love to see some examples of the hammering.

All I'm seeing is posters making claims without providing the source, posters saying I've used the word "racist" and refuse to apologise for the blatant lie, and posters try to threaten me off the the thread with weird posts like below.

And people want these men here? Let the women and children in. Men no.

'No other country in modern times has dismantled the rights of half its population through law, policy, and practice to the same extent. At the same time, overlapping humanitarian and economic crises and deepening poverty are also having a disproportionate impact on women and girls.

Half a decade in, the most severe women’s rights crisis in the world is being normalized.'

Oh come on now you're being disingenuous. She hasn't said she finds questions or statistics threatening at all.

She said she finds someone saying they see her and have for a long time threatening, and being honest it was supposed to come across that way wasn't it.

Thanks, I can only imagine their reaction if I had said that to them.

The irony seems to escape them.

LuckyHazelFox · 24/08/2026 09:47

I don't know why we are still falling for the request for data as a destraction tactic. We know our own men carry out sexual assault and we know what redress there is for that. We know we can't send them out of the country. What we can keep calling for is men coming here illegally, to not even be in a position to carry out rape. They aren't wanted. If they arrive illegally, they are hiding something. Let the faux naive brigade deal with it their way and we will deal with it in ours. The last time I checked, women still have the vote. We aren't in the Middle East. Let's keep it that way.

"Official UK data does not track adult reading age specifically by ethnic groups like White British. However, general adult literacy studies estimate the average reading age for adults in the UK is roughly 9 to 11 years old, while government school performance data shows about 74% of White British pupils reach the expected standard in reading by age 11."

I don't think giving them a pamphlet isn't a bad idea but want to correct any misunderstanding about reading ability because the fact first and second generation newer citizens will be included in your data kind of clouds the water somewhat. If English isn't there first language or their parents first language people are more likely to struggle with a reading assessment in English. As once someone achieves citizenship they are included in the general government data the data is floored. However schools data shows ethnicity so gives a slightly better view but still not perfect.

Of course I'd accept it, I wouldn't be whinging and playing the victim and embarrassing myself the way you've done here. There was no threat whatsoever. The intent is crystal clear.

I didn't whinge. He said 'I see you, in fact, I've seen you for a long time.' And I asked 'Is that a threat?'

That's asking for clarificaton, not playing the victim.

And given the thread is nearly ending, do you really want to waste it flogging this dead horse?
