AIBU to think if we need to politely ask men not to rape women (or men), then we don't want such people in the UK?

Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.

I don't see why this is a big deal. If they tell people they're not allowed to do this, then when they claim ignorance in any corporate proceedings, they can be told that that bollocks.

Really, would have thought they would be better at it then

The source is gov.uk

Couldn't be anyone else holding this particular data really could it

I mean did poster think that McDonald's held the data

Neverstopwondering · 23/08/2026 21:35

Official data from the Office for National Statistics show that the vast majority of sexual assaults and rapes are committed by someone the victim already knows, such as a current or former partner, a friend, or an acquaintance. Around 85% to 90% of rapes are committed by someone known to the victim.

This accounts for a lot of the British men in prison. I would like to know the statistics for stranger attacks broken down into British vs immigrants. Personally I believe the attacks per capita would be way worse than previous statistics have shown. I could be very wrong but looking at all the evidence I believe I am right.

I suspect you're right. If we could get hold of the data of only stranger rapes and gang rapes, I think it would be stark.

Indeed. It's grim!

All those poor women in Afghanistan who can't even be seen near a window, yet alone leave the house unchaperoned or speak to strangers.

And the free women of the West who have free speech and political influence? Some of them choose to actively defend the rape culture of the oppressors instead.

If these oppressed women were thinking that the desire to stand against this misogynistic culture might be compounded by the men showing their true colours in Europe then they're likely to be extremely disappointed.

But clearly Nomas believes there is no massive problem here.

I remember a European stat where migrants had committed 50% of gang rapes in that country despite being a tiny minority. I can't for the life of me remember the country but I'm pretty sure it was from an article by Ayaan Hirsi Ali (who is always derided by the left for her right leaning views despite having genuine lived experience - suffering fgm and fleeing a forced marriage to an old man).

If I didn't need to go to bed I could post a load of European stats from her articles. Her book Prey is a good source.

GaIadriel · 23/08/2026 22:08

She had a fatwa put on her for speaking out against Islam and her journalist friend was fatally stabbed with a message attached to the knife (left in his chest) saying something like "you're next".

BubbleAndLeek · 23/08/2026 22:10

I always think to myself you'd be happy your DD taking a trip to Copenhagen. You'd be terrified if she wanted to go to Tunisia

GaIadriel · 23/08/2026 22:14

She has also spoken out about the odd dynamic whereby western feminists will often prioritise misogynistic men over female victims if said men are of an ethnic minority. I remember some white American newswoman being frightfully offended and writing an article about how her arguments were racist. Which was most odd because the left usually say POC can't be racist because of some punching down/systemic oppression nonsense.

It's Germany.
"Germany: Recent federal and regional crime statistics analyzed by media and law enforcement show that non-German suspects frequently make up a slight majority of those identified in group sexual assault or gang rape cases, with individuals originating from countries such as Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Iraq appearing prominently among the recorded suspect pools"

GaIadriel · 23/08/2026 22:19

Well, there was that time 1200 German women were SA'd in one night by a mob of mostly middle eastern and north african men. With an estimated 500 rapes.

We've seen nothing like that in our lifetimes in a western country. Probs not in the last century outside of wartime. In Egypt however....

What I find particularly upsetting re Germany, is what happened in Berlin at the end of WWII. How they can inflict a modicum of that horror on the granddaughers and great-granddaughters of those poor women.

GaIadriel · 23/08/2026 22:24

Hirsi Ali is very well researched. I remember her stating that in literally every European country for which we have the data, sex crimes have risen in proportion to the number of asylum seekers/illegal immigrants. Even countries which had formerly had a downwards trajectory. It's not racist to observe the data.

She's far from the only one. Although I believe a lot of it is gaslighting. I know it's groaned about when that term is used outside of its original meaning. However, there's a concerted effort to keep things hushed. There's the naive and then there's the not so naive out there.

The irony!!!

It's a big problem. Even the police were trying to suppress the facts. They only came clean about the reality around the NYE sexual assaults because it was all coming out on social media.

1200 women reporting sexual assaults and they still released a statement saying that the night had passed 'without much event'.

If that's not revolting and debauched enough, it takes it to a whole new level when elderly men are raped. They are becoming more emboldened.
