Not a huge fan of Labour I must say, but this is well overdue!

Dating apps can select for larger areas if necessary so, while I understand your point, there are ways to compensate for people's concerns.

I also feel like there could be an opportunity for the government or local council to create some sort of social dating apparatus that can help willing local women make long lasting friendships/possible romantic connections with people from these communities so that they don't feel so isolated and alone.

WTF have I just read

you think the council should set up
a dating app for illegal immigrants with woman

you are bat shit fucking crazy

I don’t and probably many others don’t give a shit if they are on there own and feel isolated

There have been no new resevoirs built since 1992. Our food security is at 50%. Water companies literally shit into rivers and seas. Our productivity hasn't increased for decades. Crime is through the roof, despite what the figures show. Shoplifting, car theft, muggings, knife crime, rape, also through the roof, general aggression has gone through the roof.

The idea that we need to take more people into the country from ANYWHERE, when there's a massive housing crisis just beggars belief.

John Cleese was warned last night by 5Pillars that he should be deplatformed.

Enough is enough. When he's shot? Or when there's a massive terrorist attack and we find out it's once again, muslim operatives, what then?

When is the country going to wake up? It's always muslim operatives. Always.

What makes you think that any man lucky enough to date me wouldn't adopt to my culture and customs? Likely it would be a case of give and take regardless. Western society doesn't do everything right and we can learn a great many things from different cultures.

Yes like covering women from head to toe and not allowing them an education or even to leave the house without their husband. We do learn a lot from them and do the complete opposite because we are not a backwards country.

I think that's a very cynical thing to say about people fleeing persecution and looking for a better life from themselves. The assumption is that they will integrate and find themselves a partner from the local area, I know a lot of young British women will benefit from an expansion in the dating market. All I had to choose from when I was young was white British men!

This gets put forward as a reason so many white women are supportive of asylum seekers on Twitter a lot and I’ve always thought it was misogynistic tripe but clearly for at least some, it’s true.

I don't care for the argument that there are no legal routes. We won't want these people, regardless. We should have a permanent moratorium on accepting anyone who isn't needed for a skills shortage or who earns enough to be a net contributor.

DebbieSavage · Today 12:30

Vanillaicelatte · Today 12:21

That’s probably because at the moment white people are still in the majority

but we don’t need or want to import men when we have no idea where they are from what they may have done

we have enough home grown rapist and murders without bringing in loads more

Oh my days you are like the fourth person to go on about 'white majority' this and that, it's so bloomin tiresome.

The sooner Britain does become majority ethnic British the better because then simply we can get past all the immigration/nativist arguing and get on with making a positive community that really inspires thinking from a globalist (rather than insular) perspective.

Why?

Ah yes, like iranian IRGC fighting Pavlavi supporters in central London... or let's see... the shias vs the sunni's in various hospitals up and down the country. the stuff no one talks about but everyone knows is going on.

You just bring your fighting crap here and then the whole country will be at war with itself...

the jews against the arabs, the arabs against each other, then within countries like iran, two different ideologies fighting each other.

Where does it stop??? We did all this crap with catholicism vs luther 400 years ago. We're past it. Please go and live in the dark ages somewhere else and let us live in peace.

Is it Xenophobic to not want any more criminals breaking into our country illegally? The moment they land they have committed their first crime. The shouldn’t be here. I doubt their own countries would be so accommodating if we went there?

Could you direct me to the legislation that says it's illegal to enter the UK in order to claim asylum, please?

Can we put the home grown rapists and violent men in prison? Or will they continue to make a bother of themselves on the front lines of asylum hotel protests, or on the front lines of politics being supported by the likes of SYL, Farage and Musk? Oh wait, sorry, I forgot that when men Musk etc likes are accused of rape it's because they are being set up by the system.

I am beginning to think the people constantly talking about "how will these men get their needs met" have an agenda and I don't think it's a pro woman one. I think it's trying to seed the idea that mens sexual desires are needs not wants and while in the short term that's a good argument against make asylum seekers, in the long term it sets "home grown" rapists up quite nicely with an excuse ready made.

Please, stop with the attempts to deflect away from the issue at hand: sexual violence caused by importing thousands of men from misogynistic and violent cultures. We can all see what you’re trying to do and it doesn’t work.

You cannot compare the two cultures and say they are equal. The cultures many of these men come from hardly even recognises sexual violence as a problem. There is no law and order - the best women can hope for is to subjugate themselves by making themselves invisible with their clothing, only leaving the house with a male chaperone and accepting a highly misogynistic way of life.

We already have some men in our culture who rape and mistreat women. And that is with a far stronger legal and moral system that tackles this with public scrutiny. Why would we import men from cultures that are far worse? Why would you deflect away from the harms of doing this? Do you not care about women and children?

That's ridiculous. Vietnam is a safe country to live in.

This was many years ago, after the Vietnam war, her parents are in their 70's/80's. I was giving this as an example that as a country we are generally welcoming to families, but attitudes towards refugees are being affected negatively by the number who come here as single young males

And of course, African countries should conversely ideally be majority white then? Right?

Would you tell Japanese people the same? Or is it just white Europeans that don’t have a right to a homeland?

I think Debbie Savage is Titiana McGrath…

Regarding democracy, yes, I think we will hit a problem soon. There could be around 30 Muslim vote MPs in the next parliament. That is not MPs who happen to be Muslim, but people standing on purely a Muslim ticket - pro-cousin marriage, relaxed immigration, segregation etc. High turnout (organised postal voting) and being directed how to vote will dramatically affect certain cities. With devolved local council powers we will begin to see “city states” making their own rules, too.

There is a book written years ago I think maybe 2000 called the Silent War

basically a young group of men want to get to the west and blow shit up

the Inman says know all we have to do is get to the west and have lots of children
and our children & children children will get into positions of power eventually and we will rule

ok it’s not exactly like this but that’s the general gist of the book

it always stuck in my head that the Imman was smart he said that it won’t happen in this generation or even the next - but it will happen we just have to be patient

Some of the whitest areas are also some of the cheapest places to live. And many of them have more availability of council houses for swaps than other areas. It doesn't have to be York or Harrogate which have, I am sorry to tell you, non white populations. My dentist is from there
It's remarkable how fast the conversation changed from asylum seekers specifically to general diversity/immigration levels. Hmmmm

Apparently asylum seekers are legal immigrants so the category was changed by the people telling us that.

Well that has got to sum up the thread.
What next? Accusations that those on the left are hoping to bag a fit youngish toy boy fresh off a boat?

Well that was an unfortunate crosspost for you @Araminta1004

@DebbieSavage has just described exactly that motivation for herself.

Sat outside a hotel having a drink last week. I could see a topless bloke - looked Somalian, although obviously I couldn't be sure - stood out like a sore thumb in my nearest town. Now, had he just gone about his business, no problem. Instead he leant himself up against a lamppost and was chanting at people passing by. I'm not taking the risk of him carrying a knife in his holdall. Many others were giving him a wide berth as well. If we didn't have so many episodes of rape and murder committed by asylum seekers, we wouldn't need to be on our guard. No, he wasn't a resident, he was definitely a visitor. No, I'm not prepared to get myself stabbed for the sake of being politically correct. Somebody did call the police and was questioned and moved on.

I expect a lot of posters are too young to remember the Vietnamese boat people but I'm not. They fled their country in 1975 after the Vietnam war ended and Saigon fell to the Communists. They would have faced confiscation of property and extreme persecution had they stayed. Most were settled in America but some made it here by small boats and many died. They were largely warmly welcomed and housed in old army bases and the like. They were almost entirely made up of families with young children and shortly after arriving they worked very, very hard to rebuild their lives. They were an example to us all in many respects.
