Shouldn’t really be a problem if MN is anything to go by because it’s usually the middle class shouting racist at people like me who already have them and live in an underfunded deprived area. That's an interesting thought, isn't it? I live in a pleasant, low crime, middle class suburb. Many people voted Green. My neighbour has displayed "refugees welcome" sign for a while now. I often wonder what would happen if he's literally taken at his word!

Illegal migration is not "fair" on anyone in any area. At what point does this actually stop? I feel this is a separate issue with legal immigration (usually selected from high skilled backgrounds) with parents who value education

They will argue against it by saying it will bring ‘far right racist’ protestors in to their town and make it unsafe for the asylum seekers. They will say the infrastructure won’t be able to cope and the asylum seekers won’t be able to access the help and services they need. They will say the accommodation is not adequate for the asylum seekers.

The message must be sent that if you enter illegally, you will never be given no British citizenship and will not be allowed to bring any family. If they keep coming, they are sent to a third country or held on floating vessels out at sea.

If Andy B, stands any chance of remaining in power he needs to read the room on this issue. The solution needs to be to improve the speed of processing the refugees and swiftly deporting economic migrants.

I live in a quiet village, we have gangs of young male migrants hanging around the river and canal tow paths now. I would not dream of walking the dog down there, alone, now. This is not a fear based in myth either, a teenager was recently raped in a local park and 2 asylum seekers from a local HMO were charged.

We all know most are economic migrants but know what to say in order to claim asylum - there are lots of reports on people saying they’re gay etc when they are not.

Let's be clear, Andy has been left with a ticking time bomb courtesy of Reeves and Starmer totally annihilating the economy. To be measured it is a Labour created poison chalice at this point for Burnham. No wonder he isn't moving to London. There is no point uprooting his life and family for the short stint ahead of him.

Andy has taken a good look at the 3 trillion debt mountain, and realised his shopping list isn't going to happen any time soon without an IMF bailout.

He has just seen fuel shortages coming down the line, an incoming deep recession, an explosion of unemployment and benefit claimants forecast as early as next month, and he has decided it might be easier if he just creates a class war as a diversion for the real issues that are about to hit the British people. Divide and conquer used to work a treat.

Labour have created this total shit show. Our economy WAS picking up, we were doing okay and were predicted growth before Reeves and Starmer arrived, and Burnham is going to be even worse, he really has no clue how to 'fix' anything and isn't even bothering to try, but it is nice to play the big dog for a while. I’m not white and find it bemusing how many liberal, white, well off women are so quick to play the race card to stifle debate.

Not one person has an issue with legal migration and immigration but when illegals are crossing the channel daily in their hundreds, predominantly males and being given social housing and other such resources, everyone, irrespective of race, ethnicity, religion would agree we have an issue.

That’s not even touching the issues with women and children, especially white under aged girls being targeted.

I have a friend working at the DHS at the Trump administration. He tells me they just detian and deport. Usually sending back to Mexico or if not that country of origin.

We have had 0 problems with the asylum seekers in our community, if you think it’s only
men coming here means your thick enough to believe the mass hysteria around it. The only problem we had was when the council estate spread enough rumours around itself and decided to send Molotov cocktails and bricks through the windows of the hotel where terrified children were sleeping :) they then got relocated for their own safety.
