What are you doing this fine Friday night? What general area, life situation, age etc?
Late 40’s here, live abroad, but desperate to return home. Lay on sofa, very hot, listening to my Dd play upstairs with her friend, batting flies off me, night in front of the tele when really should make the effort to go to the beach down the road and make the most of summer.
In a rubbish marriage, challenging child who I adore and trying to keep hope for the future

Early 40s, no children. I'm having a night in after being busy every other night this week - seeing friends, quizzing, seeing my boyfriend, comedy, a nice dinner. I've done some exercise, cleaned the house and will pop down the shops - it's a nice walk - to get dinner. I'll run the hoover round before watching tv - I have a busy fun weekend ahead. Feeling very grateful for a good and happy life at the moment. It hasn't always been so.

Sounds like you should spend your evening making plans to make your life a happy one op. Life's too short. Ditch the marriage and move back home.

Mid 40s, no kids. Partner is out having a sauna. I'm watching Law and Order in my pants following a busy week. Lovely weekend of outdoors stuff planned.

41, currently lying in bed, dh and ds have gone to get takeaway pizzas for us - I had an operation the other day and just managed a short early evening walk with the boys down to the river and back again, furthest I’ve managed all week!
dds are older, one finished uni and is back home working, the other is at uni and is still there due to their job (flits between there and here though).
life is generally pretty lovely to be fair, can’t complain. Nice house, good flexible jobs, had our kids young and life was a struggle in many ways but it’s all come good for us and I’m very grateful for it all.
No plans to make any drastic changes to our lives except we will move house once ds is driving. We want more outside land and I’d like a driveway big enough for all of our cars.

Early 30s. Nap trapped on the couch with a velcro baby who can't be put down. Risotto and a nice glass of wine e for dinner.

50's here. Just got back from running errands, then will go find my nervous cat for her evening walk around the streets (yep), before going to water the flowers at the churchyard I volunteer at. It's behind my house so easy to lend a hand with the garden. Hopefully be back by 10pm and my other half will make me a huge mug of tea :-)

I'm 48, single and bought a camper van this time last year. I'm currently on the Yorkshire coast between Whitby and Staithes. I'm just contemplating doing some cooking whilst relaxing outside my van with a glass of wine.
Life may not be perfect but it could be worse.

I’m 50, two challenging kids, DH who works very long hours. It’s sunny here, and been too hot all day - one of our kids can’t regulate his temp very well and hates going outdoors in the sunshine! DH has agreed to stop work for a couple of hours so he’s just driving us to the beach to take the Labrador and kids for a walk now it’s cooler, then I’ll do bedtime and he’ll log back on.

This sounds blissful.

Mid 30s, just put the toddler to bed. Husband’s turn to go to the pub so home alone. Been away with work this week and incredibly busy so I’m just trying to work up the energy to weed the veg patch. Might just pour a G&T instead! Oven pizzas for dinner once husband reappears.
Pretty content, juggling work with no childcare other than nursery and a baby who doesn’t sleep brilliantly so fairly knackered but luckily she’s very cute!

Approaching 40, no kids.

A whole lot of nothing frankly and very happy about it. Worked from home today. Had a quick sort out of the fridge and decided on meals for the weekend to make sure nothing goes out of date. Currently sat in the sunny garden on the lounger reading an excellent book with the dog stretched out next to me.

Later on a quick dog walk when it's cooler, a bath and then snacks and a TV series, I've got the house to myself.

I love all of these nosy posts. Which country are you in op? You will definitely have options op.

What TV is everyone watching?

Im late 30s, currently trying to get youngest to bed, DH trying to sort the other one. Bedtime always takes ages and can be very stressful but Ive got better at just letting go with it all. Whenever theyre both asleep, I’ll pop downstairs to grab a bit more to eat (fajitas) and tidy up the obvious things and load the dishwasher. I’ll finish traitors Canada whilst I do it as for some reason I find that engaging enough but also not stressful. Probably get a herbal tea and chat to DH if he’s down there. Then bed! Got a nice weekend seeing lots of family.

Late 20s and single. Spent the day with the kids at my ex pils. Currently lying on the couch cuddling with the baby wondering wether my two toddlers that fell asleep before dinner are going to wake at midnight starving and hyper or whether I’ll get lucky this time 😅

Early 30s
Partner is currently getting us tea from the fish shop after picking up a Happy Meal for our 4 year old on the way home. We’ve just taken him to gymnastics and then to a trial trampolining class and it was so lovely to watch him get so excited about it!!

When we get home, we will eat our tea whilst watching TV 😊

50s loads of kids fending off UTi after trip to GP, dinner will be toast and hummus and I’ll watch some rubbish.

This is amazing, what a lovely opportunity for adventure.
sils both had campers and would take off for weekends and during school holidays, they loved the lifestyle but eventually got rid as they became money pits and were using them less and less. One of them really regrets it now they have grandchildren and I suspect they will be buying one again!

got home from work an hour ago, popped into M&S on the way home and bought some nice picky bits for tea and a nice bottle of red.
Had a shower, fake tanned and now on the sofa watching ‘Ann Droid’ on TV while DH gets the food out.
I intend to have an early night as it’s been a busy week and I want to get up early tomorrow and go to the gym.

I will let you know how blissful it was after we see how much the kids argue/complain :)

Mid 50s, been divorced forever (after the initial horrors, it's fab, OP, just saying...) DD is on holiday with her girlfriend and I'm home alone with the Evil Kitten who is destroying the house. I'm drinking pink wine and watching cooking programmes.

@Lelophants is traitors Canada any good? Dc and I tried the US one and Australian (or New Zealand perhaps?) and gave up after an episode, Claudia is just irreplaceable but I’m bored and laid up and could do with something to get stuck into!

Late 50s, I met dh after work for a quick drink at a wine bar (had a glass of rose). Now we are back home and he’s cooking a veggie stir fry, I’m relaxing on the sofa. Will eat in front of the TV and have another glass of wine!

Nearly 60 procrastinating on the sofa - ironing indoors or dead heading in the garden. Thoughts of retiring from my ok 30hrs job are lingering too. Dd (22) has made dinner. Dh away on a course. Poorly cat poop dealt with. Think I will garden then pour a glass of wine. Ironing can wait.

Not as good as UK but Ive found I can get into all of them after a few episodes. Often in the first episode I skip a fair bit (like the tasks). Karine has amazing outfits and there have been a few good twists!
