Count Binface has a genuine chance against Nigel Farage!

Sounds crazy but…

None of the major parties are competing…

Farage won Clacton with 46% of the vote…

If the 54% united together to vote for Binface, we could have the most preposterous election outcome of all time!

I reckon this could get some genuine momentum… all the other parties would LOVE this result, and even if they didn’t actively campaign for it, would surely quietly be gunning for Binface to win.

I just watched Farage's re-election campaign video where he has scrabbled together some shots of the extremely few times he has actually been in Clacton.

It ends with his signature. Am I too much of a secondary school teacher who is sick of graffiti, or does his signature look like a nob?

Definite penis vibes, speaking in my capacity as Not A Teacher.

I haven't. I hate them. If Reform put in their policy to get rid of them (which I don't think they have) I'd switch to vote for them over the Tories.

This is a niche view from a worker, but you're entitled to it of course.

Imagine what a summer it would be!

Oh my. It would make a fellow so proud to be British!

I've had 4 operations in the last 25 years or so. Every single one has been done in a private hospital, but on the NHS.

Would you prefer to pay privately or prefer to receive healthcare free at the point of delivery, as you have before?

Farage has expressed support for an insurance model, so the costs getting paid by individuals.

Please tell me I'm misunderstanding this. Genuinely.

You would vote Reform, and not worry about their policies because you don't think they can deliver on them?

Thank you for asking that, @Darkattheendofthetunnel .

I thought I was just being a bit thick and not understanding.

To be honest I would want them to. These days unions are just protection rackets.

Really? I found my union very helpful and supportive when I was on long term sick leave.

Yes, I had to read it a few times.

Still waiting for an answer.

I've only had one op (hip replacement) but that also was in a private hospital on the NHS. That seems to happen more than people realise.

Sweetsalad · Today 16:17

If we can only pick one, my vote is for Farage losing to a bin

The point is you didn't pay either directly or via insurance.

Do you want to pay health insurance costs? Because they're high, and higher if you've already needed ops.

Is a joke MP really what the country needs right now?

Oh, come on! So many of our MPs are a complete joke, one more won’t make any difference.

Free, of course.

At the age of 70, and with a few pre-existing conditions, the chances of a medical issue not being covered might bed significant and the premiums would be far higher than I could ever afford.

I don't object to them using private hospitals for NHS treatment though, if it reduces waiting times.

Now imagine that you are a foreign investor, right now would you really want to be investing in either the UK or holding UK debt with Burnham being parachuted into Number 10 on 7000 votes or the prospect of the party leading in the polls being replaced by Count Binface.

Sure we can all either have a laugh or shake our heads- but this shit show has real economic consequences.

I live in Clacton and it's an incredibly sad state of affairs I have to either vote for a racist misogynistic lying prick or a joke candidate. My town is falling apart, anti social behaviour is high, unemployment is through the roof, health and life expectancy is falling. Trying to sell and move but houses aren't selling. Reform can F.O.

Would you vote for Carol Vorderman?

I certainly imagine that Harborne is disappointed that Farage has made himself look like a prize plum. Very poor return on investment.

Well, I certainly wouldn't want to invest in the UK if I though there was any chance of Farage and his neo-facists getting into government! Binface would at least be proof of our spirit of resistance to evil, with a little bit of humoir mixed in.

I don't think there will be economic harm if Count Binface is elected. Whereas Nigel Farage supported the greatest peacetime act of economic harm there has ever been.

Uricon2 · Today 16:57

Farage has shot himself in the foot this time. He's made himself a total joke (much more than Count Binface) and if he wins, Parliamentary Standards will still be waiting. If he loses, he's finished. It really is as simple as that.

Any NF supporters watching, why did he do this reckless thing? It doesn't exactly prove a) innocence of financial wrongdoing or b) the sense he was born with, given how things are playing out for him.

I just can't understand it. Did he not even think about whether the other parties would stand? He didn't even have to see a two horse race between himself and Count Binface coming, but at the very least a unity anti-Farage candidate with only paper candidates and no campaigning from other parties was a realistic possibility.
