Or is it just me? I find that men, as nice as they can be, are just a little bit shit.

And even if they’re not shit, they’re just not as good as the woman they’re with or a woman of similar age and circumstance.

I see it everywhere. My parents. Friends’ relationships. Colleagues. The sense of entitlement, putting themselves first, not being as organised, not thinking ahead in the same way, letting their mood affect everyone around them…. I am not saying women are not like this, of course they can be. But it’s rare it’s to the extent of men.

Maybe it is just me. I’m old and cynical these days.

No, I don't. Its not as though we don't know that evil women exist. We've always known it, see history, religion and culture: Eve, Pandora, Bloody Mary, Marie Antoinette. Myra Hindley etc.

Then why are you so adamant that men are awful? Some men are awful. So are some women. All this talk about one sex outshining another is nonsense.

I agree, there's loads of evidence regarding higher levels of abuse in lower income households than those with more money. It has been studied extensively.

What has also been studied, witnessed and experienced is the pattern of male violence against women and children, regardless of income, class, colour, nationality or religion. And how it negatively impacts our whole society.

I always wonder how much female abuse against children goes unreported. People who want to paint most men as abusers always happily say that reported cases are only a small percentage of what actually goes on. That makes me wonder if the cases of female violence are underreported as well.

Statistically, men start more businesses than women globally. They are more driven career wise, whilst women prioritise a family.

Statistically women have less access to education/capital/healthcare and fewer rights than men globally. Statistics show that investing in women gives a higher return in terms of children and the local community.

No one on this thread has claimed all men are evil. And yes I know men are more likely to die by suicide than women. It"s another demonstration of male violence, against women, children, the world and themselves.

How does this all link to the OP?

Men are more likely to die by suicide because they use more lethal methods (firearms, hanging) so are much more likely to succeed, as it leaves little room for intervention and survival. Women talk more about their mental health and use less lethal methods (poisoning or drug overdose) which have a higher likelihood of survival and intervention.

None of this proves one sex is better than the other!!!

No. I find both sexes have their strengths and weaknesses, and nice/nasty people applies to both sexes. 🤷‍♀️

It doesn’t!! They are using it as an excuse. Men commit the most violent crimes so therefore women “outshine” men!!!

If you put all the crime to one side, women would still “outshine” men. They would find something else to say like women have the ability to carry a baby and give birth so therefore they are “better” than men!!!!
