My favourite thread currently on here and I don't know where to begin. I can identify with so many posts ranging from the back of his head to him resembling a ferret 😁😁😁 but I'm my case it was a lad I dated just twice in my early twenties who didn't appear to have a neck. There was nothing visible between his chin and shoulders. Of course he must have had a neck but I wasn't privy to it. I have always got the ick very easily (I'm perfect by the way) but one fella was standing at the bus stop waiting for my arrival (classy) and didn't realise I saw him picking his nose. 🤮

"....but I wasn't privy to it" 😂😂😂

what am I missing re polo shirts? 😂 they are standard articles of clothing aren’t they. Is it not like saying ‘cor, tee shirts are vile!’? Every ick is valid though, an ick is an ick!

Ew, I hate everything about a polo shirt.
I hate that when tradespeople wear them, they're often bobbly 🤢 When schoolkids wear them, they've got lunch remnants on them. I hate clothing with buttons in general, but polos particularly disgust me - like literally phobic

I never knew they attracted such revulsion! That's a new one on me, but when you put it like that I can see your point lol

This. With my current relationship we discuss everything, because I'm not going to carry on having sex if it's uncomfortable and neither is he.

Adding onto this thread of previous quotes -

I find it really interesting as a woman that when reading these stories involving men, women are describing the men’s genitals, other physical features, intelligence and sexual prowess in a disparaging and humorous way and some (not all) are funny to me.

But reading about the women giving what I assume to be a man a blowjob and using teeth - at first I assumed they were lesbians, then I realised it was more likely to be a male poster - it totally altered the vibe of what I was reading, and I think a lot of women would agree. I’m not saying the poster shouldn’t have written what they did (and they may even be female) but the tone changed and it seemed to be a mocking, objectifying post about how she was shit at the blowjob but did an ok job when told to wank them off, and it was a shame it ended bc she had a decent rack.

Reading that post alone I think many women would be offended and icked out by the poster, if he was male, and the thought of other male posters sneering at their own sexual encounters with nameless women on a forum who were shit at sex and had to be told what to do and then did an ok job at that, were dumped by them and their only regret was they had decent tits - AND YET this whole post is pretty much the same thing by a lot of female posters and we’re laughing along and cringing on their behalf. Men doing this feels different tho doesn’t it. Or is just me?

I guess I’m saying it’s interesting (maybe uncomfortable) reading the different perspectives and how we view things said by ppl we identify with in a different way to how we do if the opposite sex said them. And that goes both ways I guess.

@ForIcksake 😂😂😂😂😂 laughing aloud over here

Hamela · 18/06/2026 07:40

@WhatTheHellsGoingOn maybe it feeds into the narrative that men "use" women for sex more, whereas women are tending to go in looking at the whole package? It can be jarring to realise that they often see us merely as an assortment of holes to use, and we are shit if we don't perform "correctly"..

Not that there's anything wrong with casual sex, as long as everyone's on the same page, and it's very possible for women to not be good at it just as much as men, or just not right in technique for that particular partner.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 18/06/2026 08:04

I sent my now (very recent) ex a cute photo of my dog being naughty with his paws up on the kitchen worktop and a defiant look on his face, I got a photo back of my ex re-enacting my dog's pose, kneeling on the floor with his hands up on the worktop and with a defiant look on his face.

Final nail

I thought the same.

I didn't!

My humour glitched at "Shame, she had a decent rack" because of the slang, I think. Though not a particularly offensive term, it is more objectifying than "lovely boobs", say.

I also thought "FFS, use your words!" - just as I have when reading the PPs talking about poorly-executed cunnilingus. Mind you, I have been known to grab a bloke's hair and yank him off me, no words uttered 😬

Whiski · 18/06/2026 09:10

Had hot rocks on his clothes iykyk. Kept wearing a drawstring Austin Martin bag that looked like a cheap promo bag.
First time he wore it he commented that his friends took the piss out of it. I was like ah ok.
We arrange to meet half way at the train station and I saw him get off with that bag. I ended up saying there was an emergency with my friend and I had to go. I got on the opposite train and went home.

My DH does this and says “ahhhhhh” after the first mouthful. It drives me absolutely nuts but he has enough redeeming qualities that I tune it out 🙄

me too - and yes, it's the flippant sexual language for me. Got icky at "girl giving me head" then the implication off "just wank me off" then, rather than, "Don't use your teeth, it's uncomforatble" - ie, like, just tell her - she's a person.

ForIcksake · 18/06/2026 11:58

Another ick inducing but otherwise good guy was Robert who produced a little drawstring leather pouch where he kept his loose change. I know it's easy for women as we have purses and men's pockets can get grubby with coins but even so

a little leather drawstring pouch. 🫤

She could not ride a bike.

She suggested for second date that we hire some bikes and cycle round Richmond Park. Lovely idea I thought, unfortuately she could not ride a bike, I dont mean being a bit rusty, she literally could not ride forward without falling off. Eventually she gave up after a few hundred meters of veering into the bushes and returned the bike. I was so unimpressed.

That's so funny! SHE suggested a bike ride when she can't ride a bike? 😂 I'm trying to imagine how you reach adulthood without knowing it's a learned skill ... my normally good imagination's letting me down here 😂🚴😂

Told me his mother was his friend.
I clamped shut like a Venus Fly Trap.

I can't see anything wrong with that. I would rather be with a man who is close to his mother, and is good to his mother. If a man treats his mother badly, that's a red flag IMO.

Chiwvun · 18/06/2026 15:44

Men who are into gaming. Yuck. Just yuck. Come back and see me when you’re through adolescence.

Quite. I just assumed everyone could at least get on a bike and potter off down a path. I felt bad being so judgemental, she was lovely and I went into the date with really high expectations, but watching her just make a complete hash of it was just a turn off. At one point I was walking along side her on the bike holding onto the seat to keep her upright and the moment I let go she just started to list like a torpedoed battleship and ended up in a shrub.

No.
You are not friends with your children.
Close to mother is one thing.
Friends with is a massive red flag.

I'm a woman and I'm into gaming. It's great on my days off and before work (I work nights).
