He turned up to a date wearing a Fred Perry polo shirt.

Polo shirts in general give me the ick, so finding out this was a dating outfit of choice... No. 😭

Blimey, I can't even imagine noticing the tops of his feet!

I dd have one fella who refused to take his socks off, lest I see his feet. This didn't put me off at all, because he was really good-looking and I really fancied him. I tend not to look below a man's knees, in case I get put off by whatever's down there!

But DTD with a man wearing nothing but a pair of socks? Eww...

Teeth?! Yikes. Why is it so hard to just say 'I'd much prefer it if...' when it comes to sex?

This. With my current relationship we discuss everything, because I'm not going to carry on having sex if it's uncomfortable and neither is he.

i once went on a date with a bloke and he messaged as i was on my way to ask what i was wearing

'jeans,top,jacket and uggs'

he hit the roof-'i hate fucking uggs, you will take them off and never wear then again!no woman of mine will ever wear fucking uggs!'

i never met him-i turned around and went home

i do wear crocs but i wouldnt be seen dead wearing them outside-they are my warm weather slippers

personally,i once went on a date with a man who wore cheap boater shoes ('£2.50 from primark!')

Polo shirts are utterly repellent.

I had a relationship end recently. I have been very distraught about it because of various complex traumatic things. However this thread is a tonic as I read some of the things I'd noticed about him and firmly pushed to the back of my mind.

Including the funny back of head thing. His hairline was odd. He also had a weird fold when his neck joined his back. There are others, such as the aforementioned weird cutlery holding. He spent too long scrolling his phone. He said "Okiedokes" a lot

God, so many...

Had a coffee stain on his jeans, touched my leg when I was driving then had a really pubey bathroom floor - all during the same day time date, was the last date. I actually saw him driving recently, a tiny Peugeot, hunched over the wheel, and just cemented the ick

Wore a beige short sleeved jumper that showed off his moobs

Sent me approx 1000 pics of his house, over the course of a week or so after 1 date, garden, dogs, drinks, only so many times you can say nice, lovely, cute etc etc Date was actually nice and would have repeated but all the photos from a 51yo guy put me off!

Had an allergy to dairy but continued to eat cheese and stink out my house with farts and shits. This one was really needy anyway so was already on his way out!

"saw him driving recently, a tiny Peugeot, hunched over the wheel, and just cemented the ick" 😂😂😂

That's why you don't look down! 🤣 Honestly, I think I'd rather see a pair of socks than most men's feet.

What's wrong with a Fred Perry Polo shirt?
Thought they were expensive..
??

fatphalange · Yesterday 16:04

what am I missing re polo shirts? 😂 they are standard articles of clothing aren’t they. Is it not like saying ‘cor, tee shirts are vile!’? Every ick is valid though, an ick is an ick!

Oh I am so sick of the anti reform attitudes here.
If you really think uncontrolled third world immigration legal or illegal has improved this country then I have a bridge to sell you!!
Population growth of 20 million since the 50s has stuffed housing education NHS low skilled employment for UK residents let alone primary schools with 50 per cent non English speakers.
If you cannot speak English after 2 years here then no benefits or housing etc.
Sorry if you do not like my opinions.

Well that certainly gave me the ick....😆

An acquaintance I knew through work (think, consultant to the company I worked for, type of thing) once spoke in a cringy baby voice to his (then) girlfriend in front of me. Roll on a couple of years and we were both single, so he asked me out on a date. He wasn’t bad looking and had a good job, but Christ, I couldn’t get past the memory of hearing the awful baby voice. I declined the date.

OhBotherSaidPoo · Yesterday 17:56
  1. He turned his head a certain way and for a split second resembled a ferret. Once seen it couldn't be unseen.
  2. Sent me what was meant to be a sexy pic and I saw the worst case of toenail fungus. I had to swallow vomit.
  3. I was taking my 16 year old niece out for a birthday treat and uploaded a nice selfie of us having a good time. He sent me a voice note asking who my sexy friend was and if I was going to be doing naughty lesbian things with her.
  4. Tried to tell me my dogs weren't the breed they were because the breed doesn't come in that colour. They most certainly do. I just can't deal with know-it-all's who can never be wrong despite all evidence to the contrary.

All separate men.

40 years ago I had a few dates with this guy. He had straggly ginger hair and didn't dress well, so I'd already decided to end it. When I finished with him he kept playing the record "If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago 🤢

Another guy I dated, not only did he have a small dick, I found out he wore underpants under his boxers. I was straight out of there.

Last one, used to call me his 'lully', as in 'alright my lully?' Nope, icky ick ick.

I’m cringing just reading this 🫪

orangegato · Yesterday 18:39

Really sorry mate but icked so hard at stone island. I draw the line there, it’s grim.

ForIcksake · Yesterday 19:37

My favourite thread currently on here and I don't know where to begin. I can identify with so many posts ranging from the back of his head to him resembling a ferret 😁😁😁 but I'm my case it was a lad I dated just twice in my early twenties who didn't appear to have a neck. There was nothing visible between his chin and shoulders. Of course he must have had a neck but I wasn't privy to it. I have always got the ick very easily (I'm perfect by the way) but one fella was standing at the bus stop waiting for my arrival (classy) and didn't realise I saw him picking his nose. 🤮
