AIBU to feel sorry for Harper? If BB has an issue with his parents it shouldn’t mean that he also stops talking to his siblings. It’s equally as sad if the parents did choreographed the letter/visit.

If you look at the photos etc over the years you can also see that he seemed to be an emotional crutch for his mother. He lived through the Madrid debacle too before his father got better at managing the affairs/came to agreement with V

I think it’s because he asked them to stop all contact and mentioning of him so for him to reference the fallout is a bit hypocritical

Just watched the advert and it looked to me like Brooklyn is poking fun at himself, ma & pa Becks and the sheer ridiculousness of the situation.

Yes agreed - it’s done good humouredly and most of his door dash ads take the mick out of himself (something his father is unable to do and VB uses as a shield for her own insecurities).

I think the timing is unfortunate with the harper thing.

And when he has been used as a prop all through his childhood and most of his life to garner attention for his parents, I actually think fair play to him on this occasion for turning the tables.

Yup. He is an adult, he can make any decision he wants. He could even change his mind or have double standards if he wants. That is a big difference to being controlled as a child and young adult.

I will admit that when the Peaty story very first happened I felt quite sorry for his mum as it seemed like maybe AP had had his head turned by the showbiz side of the Ramseys. Then the sad face Daily Mail stories and Beckham style leaks started happening and I quickly saw the light.

A narc is a narc at the end of the day, regardless of money or status.

Any decent parents who had genuine concern for their son would respect his wishes, not respond to any comments and quietly hope and pray that he finds his way back to them eventually.

Their problem is they never envisaged that one of their employees/children would ever have enough financial power to break free and not need their wealth or status to get by.

Brooklyn fell on his feet with the Peltz family. Cruz and Romeo remain tied to their parents financially as a part time model and an aspiring musician aren’t going to support the lifestyle they are used to.

Harper is the new cash cow, she is being groomed to be a teen influencer and skincare mogul, which is why she doesn’t need GCSEs. I just hope she makes enough money to break free.

@dayswithaY absolutely spot on. It really is quite interesting to witness. VB will stop at nothing and more is to follow. The more BB makes his own way the worse they will get. They feel threatened by him now. He no longer is the helpless child.

I too hope Harper makes enough in her own name to break free, or Brooklyn will be able to help her out. One of those kids is going to have a serious mental health crisis. Harper looks extremely anxious. Isn't that what they always said about younger Brooklyn, what an anxious mess he was? I feel so extremely sorry for her. She is probably not allowed to say NO ever.
