What I don't understand is D & V's values. Childhood is so short and precious, and true happiness comes from immaterial things. Those kids have had the yacht holidays and stupidly expensive clothes, but don't seem to have come out with qualifications or skills. D & V could have used their privilege to make sure the kids became fluent in other languages (it's quite easy for young kids to gain that with the exposure and teaching) from their tutors, and to have been educated to the highest level, and with opportunities of amazing internships that most of us can't ever do because we're too busy struggling to earn and get by.
The adult kids - Brooklyn included - could be contributing to society, doing something worthwhile to help others less fortunate... & if that's not fun enough for them then they could even do it very part-time whilst lounging around the rest of the week.
That would garner some respect from the public and surely make their parents proud.
I guess it's understandable(ish) that young(ish) parents might have made a mistake with their first born. But 3 more kids down the line and they're still doing it. 'Beauty', modelling, advertising. It all feels vacuous.
But I suppose who am I to place my values above theirs. We're just different to each other. I have no respect for any of them though.
