The fact we even know it happens sort of puts Brooklyn in the right. It is of course possible to do things in private, even if your the Beckhams, and Harper chose not to go that route which Brooklyn has made it clear he would prefer.
Although, my sympathy is limited for someone who was happy to be within Brand Beckham when his family wealth supported him, but once he married into a richer family he was happy to disown the brand. The Peltzes don't need to maintain celebrity like the Beckhams do to remain wealthy and relevant, and so I suspect he thinks that his parents should have given him the life Nicola had (one with all of the opportunities that nepotism brings but without creating tabloid fodder), but they weren't wealthy enough for that.
He didn't complain about the compromises associated with Brand Beckham when he needed it, but now it's given him access to a better life he's happy to disown it.
