This person is a friend and wondering if I should take a step back from the friendship as I am weirded out by it. Aibu?

Can you not see that moving a man, of any age, into your home after only a month is a potential risk to your children?

It’s definitely not a wind up! Saw her this morning, told her I don’t agree with what she’s doing and that she’s old enough to be his mother and it was creepy. It didn’t go down very well as you can imagine apparently she can’t help who she loves… so the friendship is over as I said a few unpleasant choice words to her.

I worked with someone who left her husband for the 18 year old best friend of her own son.

She went from mumsy to biker chick overnight!

Oh my God, how old was she? How did her friends and family react?

She was about 35 or 36. She's got married very young and had children when she was 17 or 18. Her son who was the friend of her boyfriend stopped speaking to her and his former friend. Her ex-husband had a break-down so it was pretty awful. She didn't give a toss though.

I would not unfriend someone for this.
