To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

Get a grip. Farage is right on this one. 2 tier policing based on race is undeniable. Its there in the polices own documentation and training material. Hence Labour trying to make this about Farage.

Please quote or link this "undeniable" evidence of "2-tier policing based on race", then, so we can all see it.

northernspanishlass · 04/06/2026 08:56

We all shoild have cold rage about what has happened. COLD RAGE means calculated, controlled rage. Farage used his words to define the type of rage we should have.

HectorPlasm · 04/06/2026 08:56

Hardly a traitor! Every government since WWII on the other hand ....

I was amazed that people in Batley weren’t jailed for the threats they made to a teacher, who, with his family, had to leave his job, and move away. They are still in hiding.

Two things can be equally disgusting.

Two things can be equally disgusting.

They can. But we seem, nowadays, to excuse certain behaviours more readily from specific parts of the population.

nobodyssons · 04/06/2026 07:09

It’s scary. They just don’t seem able to see what he’s doing.

They do but they share the same views or worse. It's women, foreigner/migrants, EU. Rinse/repeat

anniejo55 · 04/06/2026 08:58

Farage is an utter scumbag with no morals. He doesn’t care about the wishes of the family, he will use whatever means necessary to pedal his own grimy agenda. It’s shocking how many people support the clown but then look at Trump, there will always be crazy and/or uneducated people who will buy into this kind of radicalised crap. I agree it’s scary.

YourGoldSquid · 04/06/2026 08:58

CheeseyOnionPie · 04/06/2026 08:48

Your rage at the police is only triggered when you perceive them taking the side of a non-white person over a white person. They have been doing the exact same thing to non-white people for decades.

If it was the abysmal policing itself that was being protested we would have seen the same riots for Sarah Everard and again a couple of weeks ago when serial rapists were allowed to walk free.

@CheeseyOnionPie :
"Your rage at the police is only triggered when you perceive them taking the side of a non-white person over a white person. They have been doing the exact same thing to non-white people for decades."

Not at all. All people should be treated with fairness and dignity. All people deserve due process. All crimes should be spoken of and treated equally regarded of who committed them.

IMO, people are reacting to systemic condemnation of the majority. Of course Henry was a racist! He was a well-dressed white boy. And because of his skin color, he was handcuffed, stated he was stabbed, and told "I don't think you are, mate." The last words this boy heard were the reading of his rights. He died being falsely condemned as a criminal. Surely, this injustice as just as shameful as the injustices experienced by minorities. And yet, the elite and political class don't kneel for him. What is the difference between Floyd and Nowak? The color of their skin. And the British political class won't give this innocent boy the same respect they gave to a career criminal, drug dealer, and woman beater. Is it any wonder that white people are pissed off?

StandFirm · 04/06/2026 08:58

I am also beyond tired of the false equivalence drawn between the George Floyd murder and Henry Nowak. George Floyd was put to death by a police officer like (or worse than) an animal. I remember the footage. Henry Nowak was not killed by police. However, as I have mentioned on other threads, he was disgustingly failed by police and I do believe there is a case of negligence here. The officers who failed him have to be punished appropriately and justice must be seen to be done- but Reform's manipulation of this tragedy is beyond awful!

He is doing the exact thing that Starmer did by kneeling after the death of St. Floyd. He said he was angry about it. His words and actions encouraged violence and riots.

So please, spare us the moral superiority.

It's not the same at all.

FabiaQuintilla · 04/06/2026 09:00

Naunet · 04/06/2026 08:50

Or maybe a lot of us have seen it for ourselves with the whole trans bullshit. Women being arrested for calling men, men on social media whilst nothing happened to the men threatening women with rape and murder?

I was as angry about this as anyone. I’m not arguing that the police don’t have serious issues either. However, let’s not pretend that these things aren’t exploited by people with very dangerous agendas. This needs to be resisted.

The situation re trans activism has also moved on significantly without GC women threatening trans people or smashing up property.

Monty36 · 04/06/2026 09:00

CurlewKate · 04/06/2026 07:13

What do you want to happen? Who do you want the rage directed towards? The police? Police dogs? Maybe Henry Novak’s father?

Beautifully put. Basically really, Farage wants rage against anyone who is not white.
He is not really remotely interested in immigration either. Nor in becoming PM. He loves disorder and is a provoker and antagonist. And agitator.

sittingonabeach · 04/06/2026 09:01

I bet many of the people protesting in Southampton the other day won’t remember Henry’s name in a few weeks time.

Are we still looking for evidence??????

Yes (six exclamation marks), because I haven’t seen it. The incompetence and gullibility of individual police officers is not the same thing as evidence of 2-tier policing from "police documentation and training material".

northernspanishlass · 04/06/2026 09:01

AImportantMermaid · 04/06/2026 08:34

Good grief, have some common sense. Just because you dont agree with his opinions ? I despair at peoples lack of tolerance and wish evil on others

Henry Nowak's death is an absolute tragedy which could have been avoided. However Farage's use of the death of a teenager (and absolutely against Henry Nowak's family's wishes) to incite violence and unrest is reprehensible and he should be ashamed. I think Farage doesn't feel rage, but glee that his followers are in a violent frenzy.

This tragedy occurred because of this country's history of racism, homophobia and misogyny.

The quote to respond with "pure cold rage" is the exact opposite to an incitement to violence or unrest. It's a call for "focused calm anger".

Andouillette · 04/06/2026 09:02

LakieLady · 04/06/2026 08:40

He died because Digwa stabbed him in the chest, ffs. The judge was clear in his sentencing comments that the wound was not survivable.

Sentencing remakrds

I think it's in para 16.

How is "police diversity training" responsible for the actions of Digwa, and how could it possibly have prevented someone dying from an unsurvivable wound?

At its simplest it could not have prevented him dying of an unsurvivable* wound. What could have happened is for him to have been offered kindness and reassurance in his last moments. He could have died far more peacefully than he did, poor boy. If that means (as it should) the police looking at their diversity training and finding a better balance I would applaud that. It certainly doesn't need Farage and that Yaxley Lennon wanker bigging themselves up.
*Unsurvivable as in even a fully equipped HEMS team arriving very shortly after he was stabbed couldn't have done it, let alone quite a while later. These deep vein injuries in inaccessible parts of the chest cavity are an absolute curse. They are not immediately obvious, something quite similar is what ultimately killed Princess Diana.

For me, I wasnt a big fan of Farage but he has made himself more electable for me by talking truth to power. Politicians over the past 30 years have made a complete mess of this country and made us all alot more unsafe (as well as poorer) - Starmer etc couldn't care less as he has security and a good plated pension. I could weep when I compare the 90s to now and yes I do blame our leaders as other countries that pursued other policies are more cohesive, safer and richer as we should be. They would love us to not talk about all this, well tough (and it's not just the working classes who are angry btw).

We need strong politicians who aren't scared to speak the truth. Who are straight talking.

Not a Prime Minister who is too scared to say what a woman is because he's scared of upsetting someone.

Sskka · 04/06/2026 07:20

Here’s some proof. This is absolutely a political issue. Hoping it gets shut down is childish nonsense.

Wow, that is exactly two tier policing. It's the police policy that is a disgrace. Allowing some people to carry blades but not others is ridiculous. No one should be able to walk around with blades.

Naunet · 04/06/2026 09:04

The point is, its a prime example of two tier policing when it comes to ideology, the police are very capable of it.

Why is Farage "addressing the nation" anyway? He is not head of state. Not PM (yet before everyone posts yet).
He's MP for Clacton. He's taking his orders from Elon. The nation is not his priority.

He’s not. He asked a question in the HoC

Disgusting. He has he used the death of a young man for his own political pursuits. Anyone that cannot find this abhorrent needs to do some serious soul searching.

Did you feel the same when Khan and others talked of fury and anger after George Floyd, and that they understood why people felt that way.
