To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

@EasternStandard but there has been calls from within the Police not to rush in and make reactive changes

Sskka · 04/06/2026 13:02

Because the police attended, sided with the murderer, put the poor victim in handcuffs, and it’s probably anti-racism training which led them to do that.

Honestly. How can you claim not to understand why people are so furious about this case?

I think I fail to understand because the actual murderer was jailed and the police are already being investigated.

what are Stella swigging, bin igniting lowlife rioters contributing?

Your point isn't relevant to the topic and neither is it correct.

I think the previous poster is correct - your link only shows Starmer hiding behind a spokesperson and a court judgment;

Asked if Sir Keir still believed that a transgender woman was a woman, the PM's official spokesman said: "No, the Supreme Court judgment has made clear that when looking at the Equality Act, a woman is a biological woman."

The spokesman added: "That is set out clearly by the court judgment."

I disagree. I don’t think you fail to understand. I think you’re pretending not to understand.

Not that I agree with violent protests, but I can understand why these people have taken to protesting.
We as a nation are not listened to by our government, people are fed up with 2 tier policing, the way in which the police treated this young man in his final minutes.
What else are these, beer swigging, bin lighting...' people to do to get heard? What they have done has made headlines in global media and showed the world we operate a 2 tier justice system with limited free speech

Naunet · 04/06/2026 13:36

BIossomtoes · 04/06/2026 11:51

It has zero relevance. It’s an expression of solidarity with the victim of murder by police brutality for which the perpetrator has been convicted.

Of course its relevant. He's the BRITISH PM, he didn't do this for Sarah Everard did he? Why do Americans matter so much more to him than Brits? Although I guess he doesn't give a shit about women in general, so add white to that and they're completely irrlevant to him, unless they're the special kind with a dick of course.

No, I fail to understand. I don't live in England and I don't mix with these type that live in a society where rioting is the answer. The murderer has been jailed for life. The police will have an independent enquiry and action will be taken

knife crime is a major issue in the UK. in my small town there have been several knife murdered over the last few years. we haven't rioted or blamed the police or expected the prime minister to comment

its almost as if some people enjoy being part of the drama

So what they've achieved is notoriety. That's really helpful.

decent people would be ashamed 🤷🏻‍♀️

Gee, its almost like your ignoring the police officers actions intentionally just so you can act confused.

Decent people like Henry Nowak's parents. Well, they'd be ashamed if they weren't already grief stricken.

So to be clear you have no problem with certain ethnic groups in society being allowed to carry weapons in public and other ethnic groups not? Rather than equality for all before the law?

I think it is exactly this lack of equality before the law (or two tier policing) is what is making people angry (or "rage" if you prefer)

It was a response to that post. Try and keep up.

They've achieved a great deal. They've showed the world how awful our government and police act and treat its citizens, and hopefully shamed them both into reviewing current woke policies

TheGrimSmile · 04/06/2026 13:47

He is a self - serving con artist whose sole objective is to stir up hatred and violence. Why people cant see this is beyond me. And yes he should be in prison. But imagine his cult followers if they did this.

Ive smseen posts about 2 tier policing for the last few years. This is the first real protest I've seen. But I suppose when woke policies end up with police handcuffing victims that are bleeding to death, its riled the nation into action

I feel terrible for Henry Nowak's family but this is very much a political matter and I cannot help but think anybody who brings up how his family feel about this is using emotional blackmail to shut down debate.

Farage is right. Absolutely right.

There is two-tier policing in this country.

there has always been two tier policing I. This country. It’s mostly been geared towards treating non-white people more harshly. But I sense you would be ok with that.

And it’s almost like people are assuming the police’s idiotic decision was driven by the race of Digwa. Is that a proven fact, or speculation ?

SapphOhNo · 04/06/2026 07:37

Farage will get as close as he can to inciting violence without crossing that line but you definitely get what the subtext of what he's saying and wants

I loathe the man. I think he's a hate-spinning, lying charlatan who loves the title of being an MP but not the work... loves a grievance but offers no credible solutions.

He also loves the trappings of it. The access to rich and powerful people. The opportunities to grift and get money for influence.

He'd do anything for money and power. Encouraging hate and violence is nothing to him. Having screwed the economy through Brexit and got away with it politically he can just plough on with his deluded fans.

Nah. They haven't. The result is the same as those ridiculous flag shagger marches

it repulses decent people, but widens the divide between society.

almost as if it was planned

'Hiding behind a court judgment' i.e. upholding and agreeing with the law.

You have to have a skewed stance on things to see that as a bad thing.

HenriettaHenhouse · 04/06/2026 13:59

2dogsandabudgie · 04/06/2026 10:28

In 2021 Starmer said "It's not right to say that only women have a cervix". He only changed his mind after the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman. It should never have got that far.

It's all related to where we are today. When you have politicians who pander to people and are too scared to speak the truth for fear of offending anyone common sense goes out the window and that has a knock on effect on everything else.

And where does Farage sit on the scale of politicians pandering to people.
He panders to racists and billionaire donors with an agenda.

sittingonabeach · 04/06/2026 14:03

@CheeseyOnionPie that’s my issue, why wasn’t it called two tier policing then. Where was the outrage from the people who are outraged now. Were the current beer swilling individuals happy with institutionalised racism? If it had been called two tier policing then instead would they been protesting in the same way. Did Farage have pure cold rage about that?
