Just heard Nigel talk about this on LBC following Digwa sentencing. Also saw the video... I'm shocked and so saddened. Not sure what my aibu is but I think we need to ban all religious weapons for a start . What do u think ? Are you in police ? Are you treating people differently?

Police have called for an apology from bosses after almost 50 officers were injured in weekend anti-racism protests in London...

demonstrators threw bottles and fireworks at police during clashes at protests sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

14 were injured in the blm protests that you seemed to think were non violent despite us all seeing it live in the telly Confused. <please refer to my helpful previous link as evidence>

Why did Starmer take the knee for a man who died in the US but wants us all to be quiet about the police's shocking actions in this country do you think?

quite!

It’s virtue signalling at the highest level. The BLM records of spend are interesting too.

I am sure in hindsight it’s something which will haunt them for the rest of their lives.

There’s no way they didn’t see the state he was in. At best they probably thought he just broke a rib and has been slashed in the face. Still no idea why you wouldn’t call an ambulance for that.

Yes, total incompetence. Even a first aider should've seen that someone unable to sit upright, mouth full of blood, cyanotic hands and clearly cardiovascularly shutdown needed immediate emergency medical attention.

They were gormless and did not see the gravity of the situation as distracted by the alleged 'race attack' story.

I hope they are disciplined and on desk duty for the rest of their careers if not sacked.

And Nazi salutes were given.

Is that worse than looting?

The arrests included many far-right activists who gathered to protect statues.

Remember the one urinating on a memorial to PC Palmer.?

That doesn’t make it alright for another poster to deny anything ever happened and claim that it was such a peaceful protest to suit their own narrative. Maybe you’d like to also point out your comment to that particular poster too seeing as they seem to think it was such an uneventful protest

I didn’t know Starmer did want us to be quiet about it. His Home Secretary has made a statement.

We're talking about protests hun, not some minister's statement.

People are rightly asking questions about how the situation was handled and they are shocked, and disquieted, to hear Henry’s words: “I can’t breathe.”

Keir Starmer
May I start by expressing shock and anger at the death of George Floyd?

I think Farage needs arresting for inciting violence, same sort of thing that Trump did on Jan 6th.

FYI. the speech that you refer to is known to be 2 speeches edited together by the BBC who have again shown their political bias.

That's a different weekend from my link. Also, your link says;

Police were attacked by demonstrators, some of whom were far-right activists

Not a Trump supporter just don’t like misinformation

Every single mother who uses this to have a go at Farage. You're doing exactly the same as what you're accusing him of. Using your hate for him when you should be disgusted that such a weapon was allowed because of faith.

Why every single mother? Everyone is utterly horrified of what happened to Henry & thought people would listen to Henry’s family.

Farage is a separate issue he is trying to rile up a war, I expect it worked for Trump so he thought he would give it a go.
