AIBU to resent the mess and antisocial behaviour from bank holiday visitors?

I know I am going to get flamed for this thread, but I have had enough.

I live in a beautiful area, with a lot of tourism, and as such on good weather bank holiday weekends it becomes packed with people from outside of town. No problem with that, I knew when we were buying it was a popular place, and it's good for local business's.

But with it comes rubbish, mess and anti social behavior;

Does anybody else have to put up with this?

Just seen some pictures of skeggy on social media rammed in like bloody sardines. Couple of hot days and everyone wants to be besties with randoms not even a 1ft away. No thank you.

I live in a touristy beach town. The number of visitors this weekend was incredible, I've never seen it so busy.

However the litter was ridiculous. We picked up several bags worth as we walked home and then my husband and I did a bin bag each this morning.

We've got about 5 miles of coast so hope there's a fair few more of us helping out.

I did speak to a guy when I went for my sea swim later on doing the same. We shouldn't have to, but i can't not clean up when I see it, it's just too awful.

And this is why we should have tourist taxes, and day trippers shouldn't whine about parking charges,

But WHY don't they take their rubbish home? Some of them must be on MN - come on, explain!
