These are some of mine. I'm sure I'm not the first one who came up with them though but it's not been passed on to me so I'm passing it on to my children.

Be kind to yourself
You're strong and you can do difficult things

You can't change the people in your life but you can change THE PEOPLE in your life.

Kill people with kindness…love watching them squirm!

The harder I work the luckier I get.

But first, it will piss you off.

Everyone is on their own journey. I find this useful for comparison.

Stop worrying about what people think of you. Most people couldn't give a fuck about you anyway. They're too busy in their own heads.

Treat people as you yourself would like to be treated.

Being nice, or kind, isn’t the same as always saying yes.

The challenge in life is to be yourself in a world that is trying to make you like everyone else

You can basically apply this to any situation in your life and then move on.

Loudest doesn't mean right.

For example, just because everyone in your circle is saying X about a particular topic, doesn’t mean that it’s right, or that it’s not propaganda. More often, it simply reflects the information they’ve been exposed to. And because one particular minority-ethnic or religious group are so outnumbered, their voices and narrative are drowned out. As you may have guessed, my husband is Jewish.

I get it. Worked full time. But you csn always prioritize maintaining friendships and your children quickly get a bit older and you have a bit more freedom. It’s a priority
