AIBU to find my husband's constant undressing at home annoying?

My husband has asked me to post on here to guage opinions.
The minute he gets in the door he takes his top off, often- his trousers too and will just be wearing pants. He says it is more comfortable.

I'm starting to find it really annoying, once in a while if it's really hot it makes sense. But it is literally all summer and winter. It means he can't ever answer the door, just pop into the garden or grab something from the car. And to be honest, I just don't like it.

Apparently it is completely normal (his dad did it too) and he thinks I would be surprised because everyone does this in their own homes??

If he won't answer the door like that he knows he is wrong. If he is actually comfortable he should be comfortable to answer the door or go outside like that and do what he wants to do. Try walking about topless and see how he feels.

Seems strange to me but then I was raised in a house that you never went down stairs in pj's or a dressing gown. Getting semi undress downstairs would be unheard for me. I don't even take my bra off until I am getting ready for bed

It would annoy me too . I get changed into comfy clothes but not walk round in knickers it's just gross .

Unless they are very tight shorts, shorts don't usually show the outline of a man's penis. Also, even if a man has a great body, it would act as a real anticlimax and turn-off for me, especially if we ever wanted to have spontaneous sex somewhere in the house. In fact, that would never happen, as I would be feeling the ick, which would be a great pity! I mean, you won't want to exactly rip his clothes off, for some hot, unplanned sex, if they are already walking around in their Asda, fart streaked, and greyish looking, underpants!

My own DH used to watch Rab C. Nesbitt, on the TV, which, to be fair, was quite funny, and he used to say that when he retired he wanted to emulate him! I let him know that in that case he would have a very lonely retirement 🤭 He has been fully retired for about 6 years now, and he hasn't quite turned into Rab C. - just yet!!

As @saamantha19881 has made it quite clear to her YH (Y = Yucky) that she does not appreciate him walking around like that, he should show her enough respect and love, to not do so. There are plenty of reasonable looking, and very comfortable leisure clothes, easily available in their plocal superstore...

Yes it's weird, and would annoy me too @saamantha19881 It's very odd to sit in the house in your underpants (and nothing else) all day, no matter what anyone says. No way is it normal. No-one I know does this. It's odd and exhibitionist.

My DH takes his trousers and cardigan off when he goes for a shit, and walks to the toilet in his underpants, t-shirt, and socks. That is bad enough! 😬

He says it's so he doesn't get talc all over his trousers and so his cardigan doesn't dangle in the loo. I find it so weird! 😆I tell him it's weird but he just shrugs his shoulders. I could not tolerate him just sitting there all day in just his underpants, and would tell him so. If he insisted, then I don't think I could live with him to be honest! 😬It would be like me sitting around all day in my knickers and bra! WTAF? 😂

DH is the same. It doesn’t really bother me. If we’re waiting for a takeaway we alternate who gets the door in which case he needs to put his clothes back on 🤣

Not quite. It was an old blue check one and no matter how many times I washed it, it always had a musty smell… very odd!!!

sometimes im in tshirt and undies, but if needed a dressing gown on standby,
other times its dressing gown but i make sure i have undies on etc,
