Why is no one talking about Farage's £5 million gift/bribe?

The right wing press had kittens about Starmer receiving some free glasses, yet are shtum about Farage receiving £5 million in the twelve months prior to him becoming an MP. No one gives someone £5 million pounds. Farage is bought and paid for by a shifty, Thailand based billionaire. Why don't voters and the media care?

Do you remember when Nige wanted to open an account with Coutts bank. They initially refused but he took them to court. So since then a lot of powers that be have been scared of him so he can do what he likes.
Also he plays on the fears of the ignorant masses by saying immigrants are taking all of our jobs and houses, gay people are corrupting our children the NHS is killing older people deliberately. He knows what he is doing - evil little shit of a man.

Gosh why should he explain?
He is just what this country needs, he is so great, so wonderful, and he is the reason that Starmer stood down!
Unfortunately there are equally deluded people in this country who will vote for him.
Heaven help us all if he ever gets into power.

It's literally a few days since the tenth anniversary of the murder of Jo Cox MP, on 16 June 2016.

I remember all too well the frantic attempts by the Brexiteers to shut down any discussion of the motivations of the murderer, trying to smear this as "politicizing her death" – when the murderer himself was overt that he'd killed her for political reasons.

Farage knows all this fine well.

He also knows David Amess MP was murdered in 2021.

His attempts to claim he's "been physically more attacked over many years than any other politician” are not going down well here.

Uses immigration as a way to rile people up so that he can get into power and hand us over to American hedge funds which is his real aim.

The £5m was an advance fee for the hundreds of millions he will make from crypto deregulation, dodgy government contracts to mates, handing our data to Palantir and giving the health service to US insurance companies.

He lost us 8% of GDP through Brexit, billions upon billions, now we are struggling to pay for anything, and people think he’s the answer to our problems - it explodes my brain!

He's a despicable scumbag, and I've reached the point of thinking that anyone who supports him is too. He's a pitiful excuse for a man. How anyone can look to him and see a leader is beyond me. He represents the very worst of this country - greed, lies, bigotry, victim hood, bullying behaviour.

He's a narcissistic snowflake. As with all bullies, he can dish out out but he can never countenance any criticism. I'd ove to see him properly challenged on his policies and his donors. If our media properly challenged him regularly he'd fall apart and reveal himself to be the snivelling bigoted little man that he is.

Well, according to Farage 'nobody cares' and it's irrelevant how he spent it - in the one breath he says it's for security (poor lamb) and in another he says 'but it wouldn't matter if i chose to spend it on cars'. Hedging his bets there, then. And I agree that despite pockets of coverage, it's nowhere near the samw kind of wall to wall coverage given to the Labour donations scandal. Farage is Teflon. He's clearly got friends in very high places. Well, Moscow af least.

The questions about the £5million aren’t going to stop. Even his mate, Julia Hartley Brewer asked him about it. If he ever turns up in the Commons again the stick he gets will be relentless.

Just watched a very ranty piece by James O'Brien (not a Farage-fan) pointing out that at the date in 2024 that Farage claims he “wasn’t in politics”, the actual majority owner of the political party Reform UK Party Limited was... Nigel Paul Farage.

Dear me. Nigel trying to pull the wool over our eyes again?

To be fair, it does look Farage's barrage of boldfaced lying was nearly successful: O'Brien seems to be the first commentator to have picked up on this.

Actually the Companies House entries for Reform are very interesting. It appears under two different company numbers.

As you can see, Farage is/was a director of both.

He registered "Reform 2025 Ltd" in Feb 2025 while still a director of "Reform UK Party Limited". Then on 16 May 2025 he filed for changes of company name for both companies, switching their names over.

So he continues to be a director of a company called "Reform UK Party Limited" – continuity for his customers. But it's a different limited company from the previous "Reform UK Party Limited".

Totally normal way to do business, I'm sure!

Whatever Farage has spent the last 7 weeks doing, it clearly seems to have failed, as his media proof sheen does appear to have dulled a bit.

At least he can't spew too much hatred when he's having to come up with a lie a day (now there is an idea for a political cartoon. The Farage "Lie-a-day" calendar).
