Everything about "zack Polanski" is fake - he was born David Paulden. He was never a "spokesman" for the Red Cross. He scammed women with fake hypnotism, He is a actor with a completely invented persona, he's no politician, he's a snake oil salesman. How can anyone vote for him?

I agree with you, the surge in support for the Greens frightens me. Such a bizarre coalition of conflicting interests, and so much about Polanski doesn't add up, as you say.

MidnightPatrol · 06/05/2026 09:13

I agree it all sounds a bit dodgy and probs my not suitable for high office - but I suppose if the greens think he’s their man… it’s not like he’s a criminal or similar.

His politics are as big an issue as his personal life…!

heathspeedwell · 06/05/2026 09:14

He's dangerous. And I say that as someone who used to support the Green Party.

Leavesandthings · 06/05/2026 15:36

I agree, also as someone who has previously voted Green.
I have left wing friends who back the Polanski-led greens and it truly blows my mind. The reasons I've been told are generally that he has a socialist agenda and they support that.

Personally I don't understand how anyone could back him, he is a shyster and an egoist.

Ablondiebutagoody · 06/05/2026 15:42

Today he's been retweeting messages by a woman who wanted to blow up a Jewish Labour Movement meeting. The guy is thick as mince.

Martymcfly24 · 06/05/2026 15:44

I'm not even in the UK and I know more about the green party than I do any political party or leader in my own country from the sheer amount of threads on him and his party. There is something like 12 threads with them name checked in the title in the last week (all with a similar op)

halfpastten · 06/05/2026 15:46

Another former GP member. All of that, plus the open hostility to women's rights and safeguarding. Polanski is a dangerous charlatan, as are the shower of identitarian chancers standing as candidates in my area. How anyone can think any of them are the answer to anything beyond their own narcissistic fantasies is beyond my comprehension.

That’s because it’s inexplicable to a lot of us in the UK that a man who previously claimed to be able to increase a woman’s breasts via hypnosis and who has allowed antisemitism to flourish in the Green Party (which used to be known for liberalism and peace) could somehow have gained the support of so many left wingers in society.

Fair enough the only thing I know about the man is what I read on here. It's just the sheer number of threads on the exact same topic (and there is a Zach Polanski is evil one currently running) is absolutely nuts.

icepopsincoming · 06/05/2026 15:57

The Greens are doing well - other parties feel threatened and therefore are desperately trying to smear them, hence all these threads suddenly appearing.
No other reason. I'm voting Green instead of Labour locally. The Green Party in my town have been amazing for many, many years. The majority in my town agree and we are a very mixed and cultured bunch.

Daisylove1 · 06/05/2026 15:58

Duno, Starmer and farage are worse imo.

I agree OP, the whole thing is frightening. I’d vote Labour before I voted Green and I say that as a firm right winger

Ecstaticmotion · 06/05/2026 16:00

You are BU if you fail to apply the same scrutiny and standards to other politicians. You are not BU if you have felt the same towards the myriad others ( including party leaders and PMs) with equally or more dodgy pasts

Seems to be an obsession at the moment!

WhatAMarvelousTune · 06/05/2026 16:00

I agree with your general low opinion of him. But regarding his name change, his family changed their name from Polanski to try and avoid antisemitism when they came to Britain from Poland. He didn’t pluck it out of the air.

There is a lot of interest in him at the moment because of the local elections. What we tend to do in the UK is build people up then knock them down, the media especially does this.

He got popular very quickly and now he’s losing popularity because of some of the things that have been uncovered both about him specifically and the party he leads.

FinchiePink · 06/05/2026 16:02

Yes the constant threads on ZP are wearing a bit. I'm not even a green voter!

Regardless though, I didn't think anyone could vote for ZP tomorrow as he's a member of the London Assembly which isn't being voted on again til 2028...? He's not up for election tomorrow as a councillor is he?

Whammyammy · 06/05/2026 16:04

I agree. But im more concerned that people follow him and will actually vote...

Are the actual arrests of councillors over antisemitic posts made up too?

I am voting for my local Green Party candidates tomorrow as they do a fantastic job and none of them have been accused of antisemitism or racism or predjudice of any kind.

End of.

Yep. So many posts about ZP recently.

momager22 · 06/05/2026 16:16

What’s the source for the increasing breast size thing please?
