At your school, what were the 3 most popular girls called?

And, if applicable, what are the 3 most popular girls at your dc' school called?

At my school it was Alexandra (Alex), Natalie, and Christine.

At my dc's school it's Natalie, Jessica and Sophia

Light hearted nonsense to while away a not so happy day.

Lavinia, Katie, and Sarah.

I can't imagine there are many baby Lavinia's knocking about these days but we had more than our fair share of them at our school.

No idea about DS school. Think I might not be paying attention 😂

Edited

I remember vividly walking behind a child and her mum as they were walking to the local primary school and the child saying “well Lavinia is 5 and she can’t even ski” and the mum reminded her that not everyone was as lucky as they were.
Ever since that time I can’t hear the name Lavinia without recalling that conversation

THREE, people! Three!!

Don't know about you, but I went to an Infant School, a Junior School and a High School (and a separate 6th form). The OP didn't specify which stage of education, so I expect that most people are thinking of at least two schools when they respond.

Is it bad that I can't really remember who the "most popular" girls were?

Wouldcou · 02/05/2026 10:24

Kayleigh, Kayleigh and Holly.

We called them the plastics circa Mean Girls era. They wore fake tan and extensions.

I don’t remember there being “popular” girls when I was at school. Some big characters that stood out for various reasons but not necessarily popular. We all had our friendship groups and mingled a bit more with each other as we progressed through school. Same with DC. They talk about their friends but there’s never any mention of popularity.
