Oh behave.

worldshottestmom · 30/04/2026 21:12

Are you joking

Credittocress · 30/04/2026 21:12

I wouldn’t say there is any class when it comes to that house 🤢

@Credittocress 🤦‍♀️ I wasn’t referring to the decor!

Dunno how your vote works. I’d say solidly middle class and very nice. And a total bargain compared to prices in my neighbourhood.

canklesmctacotits · 30/04/2026 21:12

It’s not a working class home or an upper class home, I’d say. I suppose that leaves middle class. Isn’t middle class technically, statistically, run of the mill though? Maybe not at this price range but middle class is quite a wide range these days.

Crikeyalmighty · 30/04/2026 21:12

Very nice house indeed for a modern house - are you flogging it? If so it’s lovely

Inburess · 30/04/2026 21:12

@worldshottestmom @BurnTheWholeThingDown I don’t get your replies?

Middle class is run of the mill.

Vinividivici · 30/04/2026 21:13

Slightly weird question, but I would say this is the home of a relatively affluent middle class person. Everything is finished to a high standard (though the decoration / style choices are a bit bland) and there are expensive extras like nice landscaping and maybe a hot tub???

Avacadoandtoast · 30/04/2026 21:13

I like the house!

not sure about class though - not really something I ever think about

@canklesmctacotits yes that’s a good point!

On what criteria are you asking if it's "run of the mill"?

CeriseFlingo · 30/04/2026 21:15

It’s lovely. Bang on middle class here.

bohemianwrapsody · 30/04/2026 21:15

Nothing middle class about that house. No books, art, evidence of travels, musical instruments...just an awful lot of fake plants.

SwedishEdith · 30/04/2026 21:18

It's far bigger than houses most people live in. The decor is uninspiring but very current - panelling, navy blue kitchen, dangling black metal and glass lights etc. So you need to be relatively affluent to buy it but I don't think it's the decor you'd seen in a stylish home. It's expensive B&Q rather than Heal's.

OneTimeThingToday · 30/04/2026 21:19

You would looking at a mortgage around the 3k a month mark.
So £36k a year just on mortgage... another £3.5k on council tax. So housing alone needs a £50k pre tax salary.

Yep. Thats a high income house.

It looks to me as though it’s been decluttered for the photos so people can see past the current owners possessions.

FruAashild · 30/04/2026 21:20

I'll bite. It might be more expensive than an average house but at best it's upper working class / lower middle class. The decor is not nice, there's no sense of class, style or history. Quite a few tacky features (like the hot tub). And it's a new build.

ToSayYouHaveNoChoiceIsAFailureOfImagination · 30/04/2026 21:21

The photos have been edited with AI. (there's a disclaimer at the bottom of the listing) Who knows what the decor is in real life!

But yes affluent middle class home

Purplewarrior · 30/04/2026 21:23

The hot tub lowers the class classification somewhat.

High income does not mean middle class. A footballer or pop star could have very high income but that doesn't mean they are from a high class.

TheCompactPussycat · 30/04/2026 21:24

It's a middle income house but it's lacking any class at all.

Well it’s tacky inside and tacky out. If it’s not what the house looks like, what are you referring to?
