"All those marching over the last two years and spouting anti Jewish hate."

Well many Jews have been on the marches against the genocide in Gaza.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 30/04/2026 18:08

This is a really serious matter so i'll leave it at this:

Should an unwell Jewish man, angry at how British Jews have been treated, like most of us normal people, 'decides to go and do something about it' at attack someone black or asian -

You would stay quiet should two black/Asian officers kick him in the head and face???

You would applaud this behaviour as part of justice???

Because I dont think you would, I think that the thread would be very different.

What this disgusting man did to two innocent men, one brave man named Shloime, is unforgivable.

Yes he is mentally ill, thats what is often behind these kinds of things, but he is also a hateful bigot. But nobody in police custody or being arrested needed to be kicked in the head like that, by police. Thats insane and unlawful.

The police officers imo are racist and behaved appallingly. The man is guilty of a hate crime, if not a terror offense and will be sentenced to Life, as he should be.

My heart is with the Shloime and the other man, the Jewish community-who are normal good people, and noone else.

Edited

The only racist is the terrorist who stabbed two Jewish men for being Jewish
He was not in custody when he was kicked and they stopped kicking him when he was disarmed
Yet again you are using the race card to portray a dangerous terrorist as a victim, why is that?

NeverDropYourMooncup · 30/04/2026 19:14

He was fortunate that he only got a couple of boots to the head to subdue and disarm him - when four tasers had failed to stop somebody doing similar (but hadn't actually stabbed anybody yet) in Westminster in 2020, that person was neutralised by a bullet in the chest.

I can't imagine that anybody criticising it now would be saying 'oh, no, please don't be rough with him, stop' if they, their father or their child had just been stabbed.

But the training tells them to kick the terrorist under these circumstances

Not in the head it doesn’t.

Do you understand the difference between legalising and decriminalising?

Do you understand that Polanski is calling for LEGALISATION of all drugs not decriminalisation?

Lithium is legal...and heavily regulated. What's your point?

Yes it does and I've explained why already but you just don't want to believe it

’Tit Whisperer’… gets me every time.
Juvenile, I know.

You think there’s any chance of him fixing his teeth? They’re utterly rank.

Thanks for this. It’s easy for posters in comfort to say they could deal with a terrorist incident better but reading that letter I hope the police keep turning up that quickly. Especially now the threat level is severe.

You get this reaction for a couple of half-hearted kicks to the head - I’ve had much worse playing rugby back in the day.

Can you imagine if this wannabe terrorist had been rubbed out? We would have demonstrations in Parliament Sq….

NoisyHiker · 30/04/2026 19:57

The 'Tit Whisperer' is just trying to appeal to extremist muslims.

It's a weird combination of a fan base, LGBTQ and radical islam.

Anyone that runs towards someone who might be wearing a device is doing something most, including those criticising, wouldn’t.

If you were walking down a street with your child and some terrorist in a big coat on a warm day started stabbing people round you, what level of violence would you be willing to use to stop that person stabbing and potentially blowing up (wearing an unsuitably hot coat on a hot day would indicate in police training it might be hiding something like a suicide best) your child? Would you hope a stern talking to would work?

They'd say "gentle hands"

CatherineRachel16 · 30/04/2026 20:02

I watched the video and there was no need for multiple officers to repeatedly kick someone they'd already apprehended, irrespective of the crime. The Met releasing their own body cam footage which doesn't paint the full picture, indicates to me they are aware bystander footage shows them in a very poor light and they're trying to reclaim the narrative.

Polanski has claimed he models himself on Farage for his populism and admirers as an eco populist.

Although the amount of manifesting with ZP who's said he was bullied at school for being Jewish with Farage who was accused of horrendous anti semitism at school seems...a bit... Freudian?

Guess which one of them visited Golders Green today

Of course he does and that's what his post was all about. His conduct has Trump written all over it, they're the same, it's revolting.

They had not fully apprehended him, the would be murderer did not let go of his weapon hence police did what police are trained for 👏They are heroes👏

I really despair with MN sometimes. Do you understand that it's possible for two things to be true at the same time? It's possible to both be against police brutality AND think what he did was awful.

That was not police brutality. It was reasonable use of force.

I have to disagree with you. However, I do agree with Sir Mark Rowley: the right approach was not to inflame, tensions further by "amplifying more 'us and them rhetoric'".
