Could Zack Polanski be any more of an obnoxious twat?

Just seen him saying this:

'I am concerned about the rise in antisemitism and we know Jewish communities are saying they feel unsafe. There is a conversation to be had over whether it's a perception that they feel unsafe or whether they are actually unsafe.'

WTAF? Can you imagine if a politician said that to Muslims after a series of absolutely awful targeted attacks where people have died?

And stop looking on and closing their ears while they march next to people holding banners with blood libels and Hamas slogans on and shouting ' Globalise the Intifada'.

I simply fail to understand why people here in the UK think that Jewish people here in the UK are responsible for the actions of a foreign government.

Were we, the average British person, responsible for what Blair did (or sanctioned) in iraq? Or what Trump is doing now in Iran? Or blamed the average Chinese person for Covid? It's fucking nuts.

The ONLY explanation is anti semitism. Unchecked, waved through and sanctioned anti-semitism.

You have Jewish school children told to take off their blazers before leaving their fenced in and armed schools before walking home. You have people like my Jewish friend's disabled son asking her if he can scrub the Jewish blood from his veins because he is terrified of people knowing he is Jewish.

Then you have people like Polanski saying it's all just a perception. You have the Green party now being a safe haven for candidates who are being arrested for hate crimes who it seems are SO into climate change- but they are fucking there because they find a welcoming home.

Shame on anyone who thinks this is okay.

I agree, but the people sharing that hatred usually shout 'but Gaza, wah was, freeee Palestine. They aren't intelligent enough to realise the conflict in Gaza is nothing to do with UK Jewish people.

Children in Jewish schools should not be afraid and locked behind fences but those hate filled chanters with their soundbites don't care.

Has anyone noticed how ZP’s supporters present either empty soundbites or complete misinformation they’re clearly parroting from social media and don’t appear capable of critical thinking, They seem to have no knowledge of world history or international politics which is why they’re incapable of actually debating the matter at hand.

it seems that many people are incapable of critical thinking, that their thinking is black and white. What has happened to people? This is a real problem with society, humans being programmed into binary thinking are easy to control! It’s dystopian

Yep.

Maybe these ardent campaigners should be encouraged to visit Gaza and see for themselves what things are like on the ground.

Sadly they have missed the recent Palestine Marathon in the West Bank with a mirror race running Gaza itself but I’m sure they’d find it informative.

Lovely to see signs of normality return to Gaza. A marathon is a great watch and inspiring.

I don't get what's wrong with it, especially as Polanski, as a Jewish man, will be well-versed on what it's like to be on the receiving end of anti-Semitism. We are seeing the term 'anti-Semitism' being weaponised all the time. To criticise Israel for its treatment of the Palestinians and its constant breaking of international law is not anti-Semitic, but a lot of people (and a fair number of political chancers who are worried about Polanski's popularity) are saying just this.

Anti-Semitism is vile and Polanski has never said different. Being anti-Israeli policies and behaviour and anti-extreme Zionism is not anti-Semitic.

Polanski is that rare animal - an honest politician. Welcome him.

You think Saiqa Ali is just anti-extreme Zionism?
