AIBU to think my colleague is lying about having two dogs?

I work with a work colleague on a one to one basis however I think she’s lied to me about having 2 dogs (she does have 1) as well as to various other work colleagues.

You're lying because I know for a fact that you've got 27.

What is it with all these people pretending they've got one dog fewer than they really have?

Maybe one’s a deceased dog. Is no more. Has ceased to be. Expired and gone to meet its maker. An ex-dog. Stuffed.

Actually knew someone who had his dead labrador stuffed and sat it in the window to ward off burglars.

Don't be unfair so rough (ruff?) on the colleague. All it takes is a Furminator for ten minutes and it's easy to think that you've got a second dog.

That’s nothing. I used to work with a woman who claimed to not own a cat but it turned out she had one as a child. In another life. Outrageous.
