Do I look overweight?

Do I look overweight? I’m the one in grey. I’ve had two kids and I think I might have let my weight run away with me, but as a typical woman I want to know if I’m being over critical? Please be honest

Not at all! Be kind to yourself x

GarlicFind · 05/04/2026 19:32

No, you don't. You might look as if you've filled out since you bought those clothes. Women's bodies change shape. Great excuse for some new clobber!

FuchsiaFlingo · 05/04/2026 19:33

Well, yes but you look good. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Everyone here will say “no no, you have a lovely waist and you’re perfect.”

You’re not thin. But that’s also fine. Be healthy, drink plenty of water and enjoy the time with your children.

MrsJPBP · 05/04/2026 19:33

Really, does it matter what other people think of what you look like? Surely you know your own weight and BMI and whether you feel happy as you are or not?

shivermetimbers77 · 05/04/2026 19:33

No, not overweight at all.

babyt2020 · 05/04/2026 19:34

No you look curvy and healthy

youalright · 05/04/2026 19:34

No you're fine

RoseField1 · 05/04/2026 19:34

Probably a bit, but not much. You do look perfectly nice though :)

Springday26 · 05/04/2026 19:36

You look perfectly fine.

GreenWheat · 05/04/2026 19:37

The best way to determine this is to weigh yourself. Then it's about doing something about it, or if that's not on the cards right now, then it's dressing the best you can for the body you have. I don't think the jumper is flattering you at the moment.

aprilsheep · 05/04/2026 19:37

If I had to guess I’d say you are at the upper end of “normal” BMI, or perhaps very slightly into the “overweight” range but not by much.

I definitely wouldn’t look at you and think you look big.

AndrewMountbattenWindsor · 05/04/2026 19:39

Yes.

By overweight I mean you look like you're just over the top end of your BMI range. You look quite normal.

Usernamedulychanged · 05/04/2026 19:40

Not at all, you look fine (great, even)

I think I’m the top end of normal, good spot! But I’ve been a size 10 my whole life but now wear a size 12, prob need to do something about it if it bothers me. I really appreciate the honest but kind replies

I would swap bodies with you in a heartbeat. You’re absolutely fine

bagsandmags · 05/04/2026 19:41

It’s a photo so you will look bigger. What’s your BMI? It looks like it’s the top end of the normal range which isn’t overweight.

MrsAnon6 · 05/04/2026 19:41

I don’t think so.

bagsandmags · 05/04/2026 19:42

I think I’m the top end of normal, good spot

Just seen the update, so as I thought not overweight.

northernspanishlass · 05/04/2026 19:43

It looks like you have some tummy fat which would put you as overweight. Just bearing in mind that is may be an issue as you get older.

Whammyammy · 05/04/2026 19:43

100% not overweight in the slightest

bagsandmags · 05/04/2026 19:44

Everyone here will say “no no, you have a lovely waist and you’re perfect.”

But the OP isn’t overweight…

Simplestars · 05/04/2026 19:45

You look lovely.

Mintchocs · 05/04/2026 19:45

Youre lovely OP.

Somethings bothering you though. It might be nature just reminding you to check youre strong enough and that your heart is healthy enough. So make sure youre lifting weights, doing cardio, eating vitamins etc, because that might be the root cause of how youre feeling.

Looks wise you lool good!

Alwayswonderedwhy · 05/04/2026 19:45

Slightly but you look great.

Farewelltothatid · 05/04/2026 19:45

I think it's sad you are even asking.

Please don't obsess about your weight. So long as you are eating a balanced healthy diet and fitting in some exercise and , very importantly, enjoying your life, what does it matter what other people think?

Fwiw you look great to me and if you are an example of letting your weight run away with you I'll take that any day
