Are you concerned that Trump has totally lost his marbles?

Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Whilst the foul language is unstatesmanlike and an unfortunate example of the continuing decline in standards in the West, President Trump is to be admired for the efforts, thus far, against a genocidal regime. The USA needs to remove it entirely, however. The President is also to be admired for putting the interests of his own people first.

So he's to be admired for going to war against one genocidal regime (Iran) at the behest and urging of another genocidal regine (Israel)? Fuck that!

Billions of dollars are being syphoned into funding the war while cancelling programmes that would benefit the citizens of the United States. He is in thrall to Netanyahu and Putin. He is an utter disgrace.

Nice try.

Thing is you get these non religious Iranians (those who can themselves Persian) who say "thank trump. Thank Israel for killing the ayatollah".

Complete and utter bollocks.

I despair of people who think Trump is to be admired in any way at all. Their bar is indeed very, very low. So low that it is through the floor and out of sight

I don't remember his first term like this.

His first term his delusions were all focussed on election fraud , his hatred of anything Obama had achieved and his determination to dismantle it. He can only really think of one big thing at a time and it becomes an obsession. To be a successful president you need to be able to see the bigger picture but Trump can only relate to things that he sees as directly affecting him , and increasingly his ‘legacy’, a bit like a three year old with no understanding of the world outside his immediate family.

I wonder how the FIFA officials are feeling now about their 'Peace Prize'?

I doubt they’re bothered. They are not exactly not corrupt themselves

LlynTegid · 05/04/2026 16:22

I wouldn't say increasingly, he's been like that for at least three or four years.

But they just replaced the 80 year old Ayatollah with his son, the 50 year old Ayatollah who is supposedly more hard-line and extreme than his father.

I feel sorry for him (well a little bit) He keeps taking these "IQ" tests. More likely ongoing cognitive tests. The NHS says, "People with symptoms of dementia are given tests to check their mental abilities, such as memory or thinking.
These tests are known as cognitive assessments, "

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 05/04/2026 16:25

It's terrifying to think that this is one of the most powerful people in the world. Perhaps the most powerful.

I can't wrap my head around how he is being allowed to continue tbh.

Monty36 · 05/04/2026 16:27

To overthrow a regime and where you have a body of people who are keen to have that happen you either have a civil war, or you arm them. You assist those wanting to overthrow the regime.
What you cannot do is say, ‘nasty regime’ why isn’t everyone in the country helping ? They have no arms. They have spies everywhere. They need ammunition, strategy, leaders. Boots on the ground. You don’t bomb them from above. And wonder why nothing is happening.

He is a puppet. For others who pull the real strings. Mr Miller and Mr Putin.

As batshit as he is I actually thought this was a fake post.

DH told me about the latest Trump post and I laughed as I assumed he was joking. Even when he insisted he wasn’t joking I had to actually see it to believe it. Just when you thought he couldn’t get anymore crazy, he does.

Myneighbourisanosyoldgit · 05/04/2026 16:30

Of all the politicians America could put in the White House, why are they voting for the nursing home / and lunatic asylum candidates ?
You have to wonder how many brain cells there are between the voters who voted Trump in a second time. Probably about a shared five and one of those is obviously on the blink.🙄

NautilusLionfish · 05/04/2026 16:30

@anotherside your are being extremely unreasonable in suggesting he had marbles (to lose) in the first place

I saw it on a facebook feed from Metro, so wasn't sure how reliable that was. Now I see it is on BBC - I just can't believe they're allowing him to go this far.

America has one of the largest poorly educated citizens anywhere. The average is about attainment of around 12 I think.
They have little ability to critique, question etc.

Putting his own people first?! HOW? He was elected on an America First no more forever wars ticket and just started the mother of all forever wars with no strategy, and no public support. The head of intelligence in the USA resigned because there was no evidence at all that Iran presented an imminent threat to America. Trump seems to think he is control of this war and will determine when it ends but Iran can keep the strait of Hormuz closed indefinitely and hold all the cards here. A fact that trump chose to ignore before he went in.

Iran and Israel are both genocidal theocratic regimes. There is no difference between them, beyond semantics about how they achieve their aims. There is no good guy here. There’s a mad bunch of cleric terrorist-funders on one side, and a mad bunch of theocratic ideologues on the other. Israel definitely has nukes even though they shouldn’t have and no one is invading them. The whole thing absolutely stinks and for Trump to just go in there all missiles blazing with no strategy, no end game, no measure of what success looks like and no understanding of how well defended Hormuz is, is utter madness.

I don’t admire the man. I hold him in the highest of contempt. He’s a disgusting, dishonest, morally bankrupt human and an inept, ego-driven, dementia-riddled leader. America is rotting from the head down.

Iwantabucketofsteam · 05/04/2026 16:33

He's following Biden's footsteps.
What's happening to these presidents, is someone putting something in their tea (or coffee).?
I remember they were worried about Reagan going senile because he was "old" but he had nothing on these guys !

Dragonflytamer · 05/04/2026 16:33

It is quite something when the Iranians come across as the sane sensible ones in a conflict.

Orangemintcream · 05/04/2026 16:34

He’s always been nuts but recently he is deeply unhinged and deteriorating.

I don’t know what it will take for him to be declared mentally unfit.

Crashing the world economy? Dropping a nuke ?

Its really frightening.

SheilaWilde · 05/04/2026 16:34

He’s a dangerous mix of stupid, arrogant and narcissistic.

I’m hoping the tide is turning against him from his MAGA voters. He’ll run out of money for his war soon and will have to ask Congress for more, hopefully they’ll say no.

How the fuck he’s been allowed to decimate the White House to build his vanity ballroom is insane. It’s not his house.

I remember the Abraham accords. I remember tax cuts and deregulation. And then after COVID he messed up. Before COVID the economy was growing strong and unemployment was low. I don't remember anything globally destabilising.

My gran used to come out with crap like this and she was nutty as a fruit cake, she admired a certain WWll leader who commited suicide. Apparently he was to be admired too, A complete nut job.🙄
