Are you concerned that Trump has totally lost his marbles?

Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP

If anyone sensible or measured was in control, we wouldn't be where we are. He listens to no-one, and fires anyone who doesn't agree with him, or gives him news he doesn't like.

I disagree. We can't control the direction of travel but we can control our response and reaction to it - which we are doing very well in the UK.

Monty36 · 05/04/2026 16:04

He is a puppet. Others pull the strings. I suspect Mr Miller is calling the shots in the USA.

I think we're at cross purposes. I thought you meant sensible people in the US!

Wheresthebeach · 05/04/2026 16:05

The US needs to put an age limit on running for President. The cognitive tests are too simple, really nobody past 70 should be running for President.

Nnnnin · 05/04/2026 16:05

I don't remember his first term like this.

sidebirds · 05/04/2026 16:07

Whilst the foul language is unstatesmanlike and an unfortunate example of the continuing decline in standards in the West, President Trump is to be admired for the efforts, thus far, against a genocidal regime. The USA needs to remove it entirely, however. The President is also to be admired for putting the interests of his own people first.

ThatCyanCat · 05/04/2026 16:07

An absolute raving madman. A woman even half as insane would have been sectioned years ago and used as an example of why women are too irrational to have power over anything more dangerous than a spoon.

It's looking to the rest of the world like the US is the dangerous and genocidal regime.

I think he’s so delusional he won’t think about it impacting him. I bet inchis mind (if he even thinks about it), his wealth will insulate him. Putin, as awful as he is, has all the cunning you’d expect from a former KGB agent. Trump is thick as fuck, and surrounded by men who are equally as dense.

well there goes the one last remaining bit of hope …..😟

Yearly cognitive function tests need to be standard for all presidents/prime ministers/nation leaders

It doesn't matter though because they would just get a doctor who would fix the results. The thing that worries me the most is the people who surround him enabling this to happen.

You think people are objecting to his vocabulary first and foremost?

How ? He discussed it with nobody. He has not armed those in Iran who are against their regime. Which executes those who are against it. He bombs the place to bits and then gets sulky when everyone else wonders what the exit plan is or even the win plan ? And just wants to walk away leaving the world with a problem of the Straits. That is not admirable by anyone’s standards.

He is desperately unhinged - but so he has been for a long while. The filter is dropping for a lot of people. The fact that no-one challenges him is also deeply worrying. Vance, Hegseth, Rubio, Leavitt, are equally bad.

Increasingly in my mind I have the "I'm So Lonely" song from Team America, just being sung by Trump instead of Kim Jong-Un. Except it's not funny.

This is someone who, in his first term, encouraged his countrymen to drink bleach as a cure for Covid. Some did, and died. Who, on the campaign trail, said with a strait face that Haitian immigrants were kidnapping pets, cooking and eating them. Unleashed ICE on innocent and terrified citizens, threatened any and all nations at will, pardoned the January 6th rioters, continues to claim that the 2020 election was "stolen" from him and who said, and repeated, this time around that "if you vote for me you will never need to vote again."

And that's only a small part of it. Awful. The "praise to Allah" is especially offensive, and designed to be. He has systematically sacked and persecuted anyone who has dared to stand up to him and say no, with his fawning lickspittles clapping, laughing and encouraging him on.

Vance didnt agree with the war and was demoted to the Fraud department.

More bullshit.

Thankfully there are many sensible, measured people working round the clock to manage this situation. I take great comfort from that.

Who are all these sensible, measured people and where have they been hiding? As far as I am aware, he is surrounded by like-minded sycophants and anyone who criticises him for going a step too far even for the MAGA crowd is immediately fired, like all the top brass military generals.

Trump has now said he believes he can reach a deal with Iran by Monday.

As someone upthread said, he has been completely outplayed militarily by Iran ( not to mention being led by the goolies by Israel ) for all his boasting about the might of the US military, he doesn’t understand that strategy is as important as fire power. Not only that but he has kiboshed any chance of discussion by killing off the Iranian moderates who might have been willing to negotiate.

He is now standing at the end of a very long plank, the sharks are circling, the pirates are laughing at him and all he has to defend himself is a felt tip pen , some upper case letters, and a party squeaker. Someone needs to push him off, it takes a huge fuck up to think that Vance is possibly a viable alternative, but that only shows how far Trump has been allowed to go down Crazy Trump Alley.

Sorry, what? How do we not worry about the actions of your president, which have a global impact?

Luckily a president of one country has no impact on any other country, so we're totally in the clear. Cough

It's not an example of a continuing decline though is it? No other world leader has posted or said anything like the stuff that Trump comes out with. Not one. Don't minimise it. It's also pretty clear they can't remove the regime and this ill-planned war is just going to make everything so much worse for Iranians, Americans and everyone else in between. Except Putin and his supporters of course.

Topseyt123 · 05/04/2026 16:13

These are the ramblings of a total madman.

He's the very worst President the US has ever had. How anyone could ever vote for a convicted felon and a rapist to lead their country is totally beyond me.

He's as thick as shit too. He goes around starting conflicts, resolving nothing and then claiming that this was always the plan!!

He seems to think (delusional) that he is now in talks with Iran to resolve the conflict that he himself really stirred up. The Iranians said there were no such talks ongoing and I have to say that I believe them over Trump. They are playing him, just as Putin has been doing and he can't/won't see it.

He needs to be ejected from office but I am not holding my breath. I wish though.

I wonder how the FIFA officials are feeling now about their 'Peace Prize'?

What do you mean? He's actively supporting the Israeli genocidal regime in this illegal war of aggression.

SurreySenMum26 · 05/04/2026 16:16

If you watch Putin address Russia and Trumps posts, I know who comes across with less grip on reality. Also less grip on their own self control. Hissy fit springs to mind.

I don't think he is too far off getting every Muslim alive to hate him. His language is derogatory to me but I'm not Muslim. It's reflection of his intelligence that he resorts to personal insults of women. You can see how his mind works. Superior white male syndrome

Nnnnin · 05/04/2026 16:17

I honestly thought he was committed to peace after the Gaza deal.
