Are you concerned that Trump has totally lost his marbles?

Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Who on earth has voted YABU and why?!?

it's getting toward afternoon in USA soon. That's when all of the real batshit happens.

As an American citizen I can reassure you are mortification is through the roof. We are so sorry, over half the country are watching this in abject horror. Even constantly bombarding our congressman doesn’t work. Our political system is broken.

Where the large scale daily marches and protests?

Wonderlandpeony · 06/04/2026 22:35

If he escalates the bombing in Iran as threatened I will be disgusted if the royal visit goes ahead.

BIWI · 06/04/2026 22:35

I remember watching Obama's inauguration, and crying with its significance. He was so dignified and noble and intelligent.

And now look what the US has got. It beggars belief.

Plenty of journalists speculating that he’s going to launch nuclear weapons on Iran.

The hope here is that if that’s true, it’ll provoke a military coo. Because while he’s deranged, and while many around him are his yes men, many of those do understand the consequences if it comes to that.

What? Who is better than Starmer ? Starmer is an honourable man bound by international laws perhaps rather stuffy, but the international law and order is all we have to rely on.

Without that we are all at risk because democracy will have disappeared and we’ll end up as a Satellite of China or Russia and treated like the Ouigas.

Hear hear. Starmer leads with integrity and stood up against Trump. In fact, no others leaders in the world - bar Iran actually - have stooped to Trumps rhetoric and pathetic nature. Get us closer to the EU asap. Europe/ Japan/ Canada/ NZ / Australia. We can be world leaders

catlover123456789 · 06/04/2026 23:20

He is a complete lunatic. It would be funny if it wasnt so deadly serious. It doesn't seem like anyone has enough of a backbone to intervene though. Our world leaders have let us down.

Trishyb10 · 06/04/2026 18:20

Wake up….He,s 100% better than starmer

Better than Starmer at what exactly?
Starting illegal wars?
Lying?
Being a sexual predator?
Threatening other nations?
Kidnapping the leader of another nation and stealing their oil?

Black people can see/smell evil. Trump was rejected by them in both elections. Overwhelmingly Black women. I don’t know how African Americans can live in that country. The whole soil is seeped with the blood of their ancestors.

Even that deranged bampot wouldn't go nuclear
That aside he's full on looney tunes

The one thing that makes me think he won’t drop a bomb is because he wants to stay alive. Hopefully the same thing will stop Putin from dropping one - Putin wanting to stay alive.

I'm with you on this, but, if he becomes physically unwell, with a life expectancy, there's every chance he'll want to take the world with him - he couldn't bear the idea of the world carrying on without him.

Gosh, yes - me too. Even though it was on at an odd time due to time differences, I watched the whole inauguration in tears and explained to my kids why my tears were happy, not sad. At the time, I felt it marked a socio-political generational shift in the US, but I didn’t take the tsunami that comes after such earth-shaking change into account. That’s what we’re feeling now: the wave is about to crash.

Tbf the No Kings marches have been pretty big. Most people have to work for a living, and dont get much paid holiday. They don't have time to match daily.

Love the response to Trumps toddler like temper tantrum by the Iranian Embassies, "we've lost the keys" etc, In a horrible unfunny situation it made me laugh

Racism. It's because our country is, at its core, racist. Lyndon B Johnson said it back in the 1960s and we haven't gotten better since:

“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the highest [Black] man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him someone to look down on and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”

It's a travesty and it's been hard for many of us who have historically loved our country to come to terms with what much of the US is.

I feel that this is equally true if you swap in "woman" for "black person" and "man" for "white person".
The venn diagram for that has a big overlap, and I'd suggest that it is true for way more people.
USA managed a black president but not a female one.

CoffeeCantata · 07/04/2026 08:48

Also, Trump has fundamentally changed the US in the way that a bad teacher changes a class of children. He's given the green light to horrible behaviour and attitudes and given people permission to exhibit their most disgusting and selfish instincts. He's damaged the image and perhaps more importantly the self-image of the US. The high moral standards Americans used to think they stood for are a distant memory. Their world image is totally tarnished.

I'm pessimistic that the damage he's done will take a long time to put right, if it ever can be corrected. I think a lot of blame rests with a) the US system which means that (although theoretically anyone can become Head of State) you actually need to be a billionaire to have a chance and b) the bloody Democrats who have totally mismanaged any kind of opposition to him to 10 years now.

I really, really hope they're on the case...but I suspect not.

That's sadly not enough. And definitely not enough for an administration that's already made up its mind it doesn't give a shit about popularity. I think that tells you something about what's likely to happen in November.

It's truly frightening. Although I'd rather go in the initial explosion than spend the aftermath in a bunker with JD Vance.

There a lot of talk about his mental health officials on various media.

This. My mum is a narcissist and now has behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia and behaves exactly like this. I am certain this is what Trump has. The trouble is that they can legitimately refuse investigations and diagnosis, the threshold to section someone is very, very high (although you’d think Trump being a danger to the WORLD should help tick that box!)
