Are you concerned that Trump has totally lost his marbles?

Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP

What did he want the protesters to do with the weapons, start a civil war?

Short answer "yes" and reading the reports of thousands being killed and incarcerated that is what happened. The history of the CIA in South & Central America would suggest a time worn tactic which if it had been moderately successful would have had US troops invading to "restore stability".

eulmh · 06/04/2026 19:26

I’m not beginning to think this. I saw this coming in 2016 when we voted ourselves out of the EU leaving America as our allies with Trump as president. He’s clearly unhinged and has been forever.

Gcol · 06/04/2026 19:35

I read Threads. Trump calls Biden, Sleepy Joe. Trump has fallen asleep in meetings etc - more times than Biden.

One of the memes is of him asleep with “the problem is he wakes up”, “just hoping he never wakes up” etc

Then when a decent American dies, someone writes “you took the wrong person” with a picture of Grim Reaper

The tariffs were declared illegal, and there is the 25th Amendment? He joked about the 25th Amendment recently in a press conference.

Unfortunately, the 25th needs a two third majority in Congress to agree to oust him, and he/ his handlers have ensured a GOP majority throughout. All those sycophants are "Me first", and will only be ensuring they continue to be aboard the gravy-train.

Yes, as much as I find the politicians in this country wanting, at least we haven’t got an out and out lunatic in charge. That may change of course, but if I were an American citizen my mortification at having him as their lead would be high.

As an American citizen I can reassure you are mortification is through the roof. We are so sorry, over half the country are watching this in abject horror. Even constantly bombarding our congressman doesn’t work. Our political system is broken.

ChequerToRed · 06/04/2026 19:55

Not only that, his physical health is really bad, too. There’s a good chance that at some point before the end of his presidency, while he’s giving a particularly ranty speech, he’ll suddenly clutch his chest and keel over.
Hopefully bringing down the podium on top of him.
Live on tv.

fairmaidofutopia · 06/04/2026 20:10

I wish that ‘assassination attempt’ had been successful. DT is clearly out of his depth, tantruming like a child and it would be amusing if it wasn’t so deeply frightening that a dementing psychopath hold so much power. American ‘checks and balances’ clearly do not work and it’s unfathomable to me that NO-ONE in any position of power in the US is even trying to call a halt to his reign of increasingly lunatic behaviour.

I cannot fathom for the life of me why NOBODY in his administration isn't saying what the fuck is going on?
These are not the ramblings of a sound mind.
Somebody, anybody needs to step in now.

Maybe something is going on being the scenes with other would be leaders ito seize power in cahoots with US mega. rich players

There is no way out of this that isn’t a massive fucking disaster. Why didn’t they factor in the control they have over that bloody water way? They are going to plunge the world into a global famine if fertiliser doesn’t get through soon. Oil prices will be the least of our problems.

This speech from a politician in France sums him up perfectly.

https://youtube.com/shorts/kWzmarCwL18?si=7zK01k8-j3friDlk

This is brilliant, the French Politian has summed it up very succinctly. My concern is that Trump is the big Pigeon who doesn't know how to play chess, but will knock over the pieces, sh*t on the board, then strut around like he won anyway. Perhaps his aides are hoping someone will put him out of his misery - given enough rope and all that.

starstar84 · 06/04/2026 20:51

Did he ever have hinges? He’s a cheating sex predator. Why people thought they should vote in someone with less moral backbone than a mouldy sponge beats me.

Wake up….He,s 100% better than starmer

Absolute nonsense. This kind of mindlessly lazy rhetoric makes me despair for the future of mankind. We will stupid ourselves into extinction.

I'm puzzled as to how America has managed to go from the well-mannered, intelligent, eloquent and witty statesman Obama is to
this.

And yes, Trump's definitely not a full deck of cards.

Racism. It's because our country is, at its core, racist. Lyndon B Johnson said it back in the 1960s and we haven't gotten better since:

“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the highest [Black] man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him someone to look down on and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”

It's a travesty and it's been hard for many of us who have historically loved our country to come to terms with what much of the US is.

If only they’d picked a better white person tho!

I miss Obama.

This is detailed. Are we manifesting? We should try manifesting.

History Honours examination 1972

What were the rationalisations given for Hitler’s rise to power?

We’ve been here already. Learn the lessons from history- that one ended in a Berlin bunker after 5 years and over a million dead

This made me cackle loudly in a very un trad wife manner.

What? Who is better than Starmer ? Starmer is an honourable man bound by international laws perhaps rather stuffy, but the international law and order is all we have to rely on.

Without that we are all at risk because democracy will have disappeared and we’ll end up as a Satellite of China or Russia and treated like the Ouigas.

Yup. That and his first election. I'm a dual citizen and I went to sleep the night (well, early morning) he was elected the first time, in an absolute state of despair about what was to come.
