My baby looks at me disapprovingly

Does anyone else’s baby look at them disapprovingly? When I take him out in his buggy he lies in the bassinet looking out at me like a small, disapproving man. Am I alone in this?

What?

Wait until you get to the teenage years.

steff13 · 12/03/2026 17:57

I came here for a picture of a judge baby. #disappointed

ferntwist · 12/03/2026 17:57

How old is he? He is almost certainly still learning to focus. I promise you he won’t have learned a disapproving look yet, he’ll learn that from adults around him much later. I hope it’s not upsetting you or making you feel he doesn’t adore you as much as you no doubt love him! Enjoy your baby X

I’ve never met a newborn that hasn’t mastered the art of looking disappointed in my lifestyle choices tbf

Lambington · 12/03/2026 17:59

Have you said anything to offend him?

Sourisblanche · 12/03/2026 18:00

My third always did. Still does at 17Smile

TittyGajillions · 12/03/2026 18:01

He probably needs to fart.

Wait till you do say something to offend him, like no or wash your face, or clean your teeth. Then you'll know what a disapproving look is

YANBU.

damelza · 12/03/2026 18:02

You're obviously not pushing the buggy quickly enough, or bringing him along a boring road.

HeadyLamarr · 12/03/2026 18:04

He's got early onset Resting Bitch Face?

For years I thought the cat scowled at me because he hated me. Turns out narrowing their eyes is how cats greet each other affectionately.

outerspacepotato · 12/03/2026 18:05

Baby Judge.

😂

Is it your outfit? The stroller? The road?

SuzyFandango · 12/03/2026 18:23

My daughter was judgy as fuck as a baby

Hate to tell you this op but she still is. She's 6. The eyebrow goes up, the frown, except now its accompanied with "you can't expect me to eat that".

You keep telling yourself that!😂

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/03/2026 18:25

I suggest you never get a cat 🤣

ConflictofInterest · 12/03/2026 18:26

Oh yes, my eldest DD was like this. It was my mother in law's face in baby form, and very very disappointed in me.

Weeelokthen · 12/03/2026 18:28

Get used to it, lady 😂

FreshInks · 12/03/2026 18:29

I can’t tell if this is serious or meant to be a joke?

WhatSharonSaidNext · 12/03/2026 18:31

I used to say my niece hated me. She always looked at me with complete disdain. If she fell over and I went to steady her she’d push me away from her 😂

Overtheatlantic · 12/03/2026 18:31

I love this 😆
