Dog poo!

Bin day and at least 3 people have dropped their dog sh*t bags in my empty black bin - who are these idiots! The bin men lift the black bags out so I end up having to upend the bin to empty it on a regular basis. If this is you don’t do it please! Surely I’m not being unreasonable ..

I do think dog poo is the worst of all poo. Goose poo is nasty sticky stuff, but dog poo makes me want to vomit. That smell, and the shape and size, and then when it’s in a little bag I honestly heave.

I hate this too. So antisocial and inconsiderate.

I also hate the people who hang bags of shit from shrubs and trees down the local park as if some magic dogshit fairy is going to remove it for them.

And the number of dog owners who still et their dog shit right in the middle of the path or just next to the playground in our park and then notice you and when you challenge them say “oh I was going to go and pick it up just finding my bag” when clearly they planned to walk on by.

If the dog poo bags don’t go in the black bin, as such is for non recycled rubbish here, where should they go?

Not in my black bin - in a public dog poo bin. That is also not my problem and not my dog

It’s very annoying, but as a litter picker, I would rather them put it in my bin then the hedge or not pick it up.

Dog owners are fucking anti-social. Was reading the other day about the Welsh rugby player hospitalised due to dogs crapping all over the sports pitches. Should be laws that they shit on owners property only.

I wouldn’t put them in anyone else’s bin - I use a poo bin or take them home. But i am worried now that I’m not supposed to put them in the black bin at all?

Seriously? You either dispose of it in a designated dog poo bin or take it home and dispose of it in your bin (inside the bin bag). Why the fuck should others have to deal with it?

It wouldn't be so bad if the bins were put on to the back of the truck and upended like they are by some councils , but @Lucelulu bin men take out the bin bags by hand so they won't see or be able reach the bottom of his/her bin.

This wasnt the point of the thread. The OP just doesn’t want it in HER bin as she needs to get it out. YOUR normal black bin is fine.

It's not me! I always carry bags and pick it up. Then take it to a dog poo bin or a general public bin. Not all dog owners are irresponsible, many are very considerate and lovely.

Please see my follow up post - I’ve already replied to this. I took it that the bin men were removing poo bags from black bins and now I am panicking that I’ve been doing the wrong thing putting them in my own black bin.

If you live somewhere where you must put all rubbish in a black bag and they lift the bins out then no I doubt they’ll go fishing around in the bin for any dog shit bags. If you live somewhere where they upend the bin into the truck to empty it then it doesn’t matter what you do with it.

The public dog shit bin or your own.

I don't have a dog because I don't like the poo.

If you don't like carrying it you shouldn't have a dog.

When acquiring a pet, how you will deal appropriately with its shit is one of the most obvious elements to consider.
