Why was he in another country fighting in the first place? Those wars killed a million people. Life is indeed cheap to the US and the soldiers that fight in these illegal wars.

What a thing to say to a mother whose son has been critically injured while doing his job. So much for empathy.

Agreed. Some people on here blow my mind with their ignorance. I do wonder how they get on day to day in life.

I don't know who bombed the girl's school. But I am interested in hearing from those who are sure the US/Israel did it, on WHY they think they would target a school.

Not whether it was a mistrike/bad intel/debris/Iran itself, or whatever.

But WHY would the US/Israel deliberately fire on a school full of little girls?

Do you think it was strategic? They are just evil? What would be the point?

The Guardian and Snopes reports linked above suggests it was a US/Israel missile. I don't think they targeted the school deliberately but they do not seem to have done the necessary surveillance to avoid it. Trump and Rubio have both shrugged their shoulders at people dying in war - they certainly do not seem to care about the human collateral.

SnipSnipMrBurgess · 04/03/2026 07:55

Yes, the US and Israel are evil.

I thought this was well known no?

I mean look at the history of both countries?

How are you finding the Iranian regime?

Alexandra2001 · 04/03/2026 08:30

inamarina · 04/03/2026 07:41

Did you miss the recent protests in Iran where tens of thousands were killed by their own regime, including kids and teenagers? Before any bombs were dropped?

So you pick n chose what you believe?

There is no evidence 10s of 1000s were killed, large numbers yes & one killed is one too many.

The West interfering in other countries has no success, none at all, these countries need to be left to their own devices as much as possible, in Iran's case, the Nuclear element had to be addressed but not this mass bombing, all Trump has done is fuck up the worlds economy, including ours and will lead to many more deaths

Whether you believe the US/Israelis or the Iranians, the fact is, had they not attacked Iran in the way they did and used a more targeted approach on their Nuclear ambitions..... all of these school children and their teachers would still be alive.
The US destroyed a hospital in Kabel, dont be so sure they don't make "mistakes, the Israelis would do it deliberately.

Trump now, is encouraging the Kurds and others to his "boots on the ground" this will end up like Afghanistan, Libya etc

A man with Dementia destroying lives.

👏 👏 👏

Probably 'misunderstood' but somehow virtuous for fighting the evils of western dominance. And infantilized since they don't know better - but clearly it would be better for them to have the upper hand in that region, surely the world would be a better place

Even if those countries export terrorism?

Dragonflytamer · 04/03/2026 08:34

The American's military has stated they don't have a plan for the long term. Trump has no interest in positive regime change. Let's not forget it was Trump who withdraw American troops from Afghanistan leaving the country in the hands the Taliban.

Finding US and Israel evil doesn’t automatically mean approving of the Iranian regime..

Because he was a soldier. He didn't start or choose the war but soldiers go where they are sent.

Fuck's sake.

Quite. Some people seem to have an entirely binary view on the world.

I can both believe that the Iranian regime is evil and at the same time believe the US president doesn't have the right to kill, be it people who disagree with immigration policies with this ICE Force or foreign leaders with his Air Force.

rainingsnoring · 04/03/2026 08:40

Foggybottomblues · 04/03/2026 02:41

It is very sad but there is no evidence this was caused by US/. Israeli forces. The evidence points to a failed Iranian rocket launch.

What evidence would that be?
It's shocking how many posters are so desperate to excuse the US and Israelis, the same countries that are responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians already and pretend that there is some compelling evidence that this absolute tradgedy was an Iranian missile.
It's also shocking how little coverage and general outrage there has been because these were 'only' Iranian girls. If they were Israeli girls or Ukrainian girls or British, imagine how different the Western media coverage and the general public feeling would be.

Absolutely. The black and white thinking on these geopolitical threads is also shocking. Some people seem to think that this is an American super hero movie where one side is 'good' and the other 'bad'.

I haven't noticed Iran exporting Terrorism to the USA?

Shall we bomb Russia?

We cannot control a country of 90m people, many of whom will now come to Europe & cross the channel on boats.....

Iran will descend into civil war & even more terrorism, more refugees, more suffering.

Trump has created another even worse Terrorist state.

There are other ways to deal with terrorism. We didn't stop IRA terrorism by air raiding Belfast and bombing catholic schools.

Pakistan has been exporting terrorism for decades. So has S Arabia. Sheltering some of the worst terrorists. No one suggests bombing them ( rightly so as the collateral damage would be awful).

I'm not sure who did it, but if the US did do it, you could argue that it's a tactic to drum up outrage. These innocent people attacked by the big evil ...children at that ...its a good way to get others involved. Causes a sort of "kick off" if that makes sense.??

I mean, you could blame anyone for it if you think that way. Regardless, it's a terrible thing.

I don't think OP meant to attack your son but rather to question why American soldiers were fighting in the first place. Life it cheap to the US and they consider American soldiers lives (like your son) to be cheap as well. Your son and his family suffered horribly because of this awful war.

RichardOnslowRoper · 04/03/2026 08:50

Mojtaba Khameini to succeed his dad. Israel says they will kill him.
Then likely another Khameini.

Meanwhile the desperate Reza Shah Pahlavi trying to chuck his hat in the ring, but dismissed by all parties. 🙄

The report certainly DOES NOT suggest this. It states that there is not enough evidence to conclude anything. Stop making things up (and don’t bother with single line quotes )

Ah, you wish the world to be black and white.

Religious sectarianism is in way comparable to having a neighbour who wishes to build nuclear weapons, and who has sworn to ‘wipe you from the map’.

Nice try btw - who bombed the school?
