Seriously. No one called 7/10 "an incident". Even in the apparent "evidence" from Wikipedia, the many incidents that made up the invasion and massacres of 7/10 are listed individually.

I bet you've been unsuccessfully searching for soem media outlet that somewhere described 7/10 (or 9/11) as an "incident"

Someone already posted one. Gosh would you ever just read a dictionary seriously

Israel have always responded with twice the ferocity. Hamas would've known the outcome of their actions. They didn't care because religious extremists generally don't. Probs just thinking of the 72 virgins they'll get in the afterlife.

Was it you that posted about the virgins earlier ? It’s irrelevant to me what people believe happens in the afterlife. What Hamas believe doesn’t justify starving and torturing innocent citizens and stopping aid being delivered . You can defend that all you want but I am never going to agree with it

TheIceBear · 05/03/2026 06:25

sabababa · 05/03/2026 02:17

Exactly, lack of consensus. And a lot of the countries "agreeing" have pretty poor human rights records themselves, many actually genocidal but denying it (Turkey, Indonesia and Pakistan to begin with).

Well I’m proud that Ireland is one of the countries that has spoken out against Israel and their disgusting genocide .

sabababa · 05/03/2026 06:28

TheIceBear · 05/03/2026 06:17

Of course I don’t see the citizens as evil. I mean the government and their decisions. I don’t see any country as having a population that is “evil” but plenty of leaders are

But you just said Israel and the US are evil. That's not "the Israeli government". Both the US and Israeli governments are democratically elected. And governments change too, at least they do in democratic countries. I don't like Netanyahu nor Trump, i never have. And in both countries the current governments are certainly problematic and the direction of travel is scary, but evil is really pushing it.

Israel has had governments which have exchanged ladn for peace such as with Egypt and Jordan. Israel tried many times to reach peace deals with the Palestinians and an end to the conflict. And Israel actually has no real conflict with Iran - Iran objects to israel's existence and will do anything to weaken and ultimately destroy Israel (hence the axis of resistance, hence the funding of Hamas, hence 7/10 to prevent normalization with Saudi). Iran is not good for Palestinians either, they want to fight Israel but they want to do it to the last Arab standing.

It’s not a genocide, it’s a war that Hamas started, and lost.

They did. A list of terrorrist incidents of which 9/11 was listed . And you are like a dog with a bone I am not responding to any more posts on the meaning of the word incident it’s derailing the thread . Grow up

@sabababa i could easily start a rant here about the uk and how they compare to Ireland in relation to treatment of other countries and atrocities…we all know how that would go. But I won’t stoop that low like you have

Actually you keep bringing it up 😅I'd moved on but had to correct your misinformation.

And, no, that Wikipedia list did not refer to 7/10 as an incident. Each massacre and invasion was listed separately as a separate "incident".

Apparently "everyone" was calling it an incident according to some posters whereas in fact no one was and it was intentionally described as such to minimize it.

You are the one who keeps raising it. I meant everyone was referring to it as terrorism. I stated that in a post after . But technically if you look up incident in the dictionary it is also an incident . Please stop going on about this it’s such a waste of time and energy it’s absolutely pathetic who actually cares ?

Ireland has never colonised any other country or invaded another country and then treated the citizens like absolute dirt the way a lot of other countries in Europe did. I mean they made it illegal for Irish people to speak their own language and practice their own religion for example when we were colonised And Ireland are not Nazi bedfellows. That is simple untrue .

First, I thought you weren't replying anymore....

Second, because no one calls 7/10 an incident and it was intentionally done to makeit seem less than it was.

Ohhhh, how heartwarming.

Q. How many desperate Jewish refugees did this brave little country take in during WW2?

A. About 100.

Reason: Antisemitism. They didn't want Jews.

And 80 years later we get a clearer idea why Palestine is so dear to the Irish heart, to the exclusion of every other cause...

Lol. Of course nothing I've written is bigoted at all. You just don't like what I've written adn the fact that you can't prove me wrong.

Ad hominen attack par excellence.

No, you didn't originally write it so I don't understand why it's so important to you to defend it..

I bet you will be replying too...

no that’s just your opinion with absolutely no basis in fact . Whereas what I’ve posted about the uk is a fact .

Yes I did know that. Doesn’t make the Irish nazi bedfellows . I notice you haven’t commented on any of the UK treatment of Ireland I mentioned though. Hmmm wonder why that is
