Another chilling post, attempting to justify the aggression of the Israelis. One has to wonder at the character of some people. No wonder so many atrocities happen when some are prepared to shrug off so much murder and aggression.

How on earth can you possibly guarantess that what comes next will be better than the CURRENT regime (they are still in power remember, despite the US politicians begging the Iranians to rise up and conquer them). Some of the Iranians are over the moon, some are not, many resent the US interference and do not want a US puppet imposed on them. There is a very good chance that what comes next could be much worse for the Iranians, the whole region and even the whole world. If this war is a long one, involving ground troops, the blockade of the S of H, attacks on energy and water infrastructure, etc, the economic consequences for the UK and many other countries will be immense. That's before you even start thinking about the longer term consequences.

Its pretty clear the Iranian government has killed thousands of its own population, some said 12,000 alone were murdered in January by the Iranian government.

Its a tragedy that the school girls were killed and violence is wrong, however this was not a benign regime. Its not black and white - anyone who thinks it is black and white is naive.

Trump and Netanyah were wrong to attack but the Iranian government were evil and the deaths of their leadership is not something to be sad about.

Do you think that any country can simply attack any other country because they don't like the leadership and want to install a friendly leader? Is it fine to ignore international law and your own congress and simply launch weapons?
Presumably it is also fine for China to attack Taiwan or Japan? Is it also fine Russia to flatten Ukraine and then start on the Baltic states? Should they perhaps attack Western Europe too because they dislike the leadership? Does it matter that millions of civillians could be killed?

Are you saying that the fact that the Iranian regime is not 'benign' means that the death of 160 or so school girls is justified? It should be pointed out that the killing of the citizens by the Iranians, which is not to be justified in any way at all, has led on from the deliberate US interference. Bessant has talked openly about the US aim to sink the Iranian economy in order to create unrest. The CIA have also been involved in creating unrest amongst the population.

The options aren't just let terrorists run through or kill all of their children. There are plenty of other options. As I've posted before we didn't respond to the IRA terrorism by coming into Belfast and killing Catholic kids.

You haven't answered the question. But that's no surprise because nobody has answered it since 7/10/23. The Israelis acted in defence of their population to get all their hostages back and stop Hamas from repeating the massacres that they openly stated they would commit again.

tomorrow is never guaranteed, but on the balance of probability Iran is very likely to get a much improved position with a new regime. The past/current one is evil personified. Hopefully there will be arming of the Kurds and the new regime will be far more secular and progressive. Islamism needs to be ousted from the governments of the Middle East and replaced with a more progressive form of Islam and increased secularism within governments. Arming of the Kurds with back up military support is one way to optimise the chances of this happening, what is important that we don’t give up , We need to back up what has been started. The ME as is stands poses a significant risk to the West we need to prioritise neutralising that.

I just watched a video on sky news of premature babies being evacuated from a hospital in Iran that has been hit by Israel/the US. I feel like we've seen this before only at least they were allowed to evacuate the tiny babies in Iran instead of being actively prevented from helping them like in Gaza where Israel left them to die alone.
