Most unusual names in your children’s school class

What’s the most unusual name a child in your kids class at school has had?
Almost every other child I know is called Harry, Theo, Leo, Olivia….would love to hear some unusual examples of names!

I went to school with a boy called Wolf. He would be 59 now.

My daughter taught a Zeus (year 4).

Why? I think it’s nice.

Came on to the thread to see if anyone has put our daughter’s name up but thankfully not seen it yet! I was nervous telling people but the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s very outing though so keeping it to myself.

We have a Bear but I work with someone called Rope!

I rank admissions applications (I've just finished ranking 19 schools for September's intake).

I am really fascinated @Catlady878 why Elizabeth is thought to be an unusual name. I’m genuinely interested in the thinking behind that. I’m not in any way picking an argument, just interested as to why, where you are, it’s an unusual name.

I know of a Wolf (7 yrs old) and a Bear (same). Both boys.

I know a Tiger, a couple of Erics, a Hallam, a Trevellian and a Jim. Just Jim.

I’m laughing at Rocket, I’ll assume he’s not Scottish🤣🤣 rocket is not a complimentary name here 🤣 Some of these names are awful and ppl need to remember the little cute bay has to grow up.

Oh gosh I couldn't say the three most unusual as it would be very outing as they're so unusual. Ones a place name one I think must have come from a surname at some point and one is a very unusual Scottish name.

My own children's are quite unusual too!

There's two Ziggys in one infant class I know. I thought their parents must be furious they're not unique and have to use a surname initial lol.

I honestly usually don’t really raise an eyebrow but Adonis is wild!

Not at our school. Also there's is an Irish family in our village and the children have beautiful quite unusual Irish names.

Oh yes we know a Ziggy too!
