You need to find a way to calm yourself.
Distract the children with a game. Sing songs . Tell stories.
We can't choose the situations we find ourselves in but we can choose how we respond to them

They need to be really careful about flying glass. Curtains drawn, go into corridor or down to underground car park if pos. Take a duvet and bed down in an underground car park for the night. Luckily there isn’t an issue with street crime so this is an option.

register with embassies. Pack grab bags.

Follow embassies and Dubai ministries. Do not get in trouble by sharing videos.

Keep everything charged. Power in Dubai is good, but don’t be caught out.

The people at the airport have been relocating to the underground car parks. Maybe no signal getting through because of the steel structure

This is a nightmare for everyone involved. People have gone for a holiday and ended up in the middle of a war. Doesn’t matter what you think of Dubai personally-we can all have sympathy for unsuspecting tourists stuck in an unfamiliar place not knowing what to do or what is going on.
