I’ve always felt the more wild claims (cannibalism/murder/torture) have been pushed out to muddy waters and take away from the true and already horrific events that occurred to children 12+ on that island. I used to think that it was lies being circulated to make the real crimes seem less serious in comparison to eating babies and murdering. To almost drown victims statements. - Hey look, I only raped a 15 year old, not ate her newborn, I’m not that bad.
These days I’m not so sure. A man I was friends with downloaded over 9000 videos and images of the most extreme torture and abuse videos including murder of children and made friends online with a network of men with his own sick fantasies. Just an ordinary bloke, like the millions of others who share his twisted predilections.
These people always find one another. Online, in prisons, look back to the historic claims of child abuse in institutions, even back to Victorian eras a peado has always found itself drawn to other peados. I did a course on safeguarding over 20 years ago now and that was all apart of it. There was something that stuck with me, a story the teacher told us. A group of siblings from a rural American town were telling their teacher that they’d be hurt sexually by Disney characters. They would say they’d been forced to perform sex acts on Mickey Mouse etc so the children were completed ignored and seen as liars. What was actually happening was their parents were selling them out and the abusers wore Disney masks to hide their identity and make their claims sound bonkers.
We know nonces are smart, they groom everyone around them. There are stories constantly of murdered children who’ve died from sexual and physical abuse from the hands of parents or grandparents, even uncles or siblings. AI has been used by these sick individuals to create personalised abuse images for secretly paedophillic fathers/grandfathers of their own children. These people are out there just living ordinary lives. So with money/power/privilege what the fuck are these people getting away with really? It seems so extreme and shocking to us because we aren’t sexually aroused by children, quite the contrary, we are disgusted at those who are.
I’m not sure what I believe has happened and I suspect that lots of it is sensationalist to make the real story seem more palatable. But equally I don’t think any of the accusations are remotely difficult to believe when a group of elites have money to access the most beautiful women on the planet, the fact they are curating actual children and not those women (20+) speaks of a certain predisposition towards children.
Maybe it’s real, maybe it’s basement dwelling lunatics enjoying seeing their claims go viral. It all needs investigation. But we should all keep an open mind as grotesque as the truth may be, we shouldn’t dismiss anything as crackpot crazy because frankly we don’t know.
But we need to keep being angry, keep demanding answers and find ways to keep children safe from groomers. They could be your child’s teacher, friends parent, a religious figure or shopkeeper. Not being trusting with our DC is the only way to protect them. Limit access to them, keep them offline, remember that anonymous studies have proven men who were asked if the could suffer no consequences and remain anonymous would they abuse a children said yes, yes they would. In droves. Ordinary men if guaranteed protection from sexually abusing children would do it and it needs to be branded into all our consciousness, treat everyone with a healthy amount of suspicion when it comes to kids.
