Are you now more likely to vote for REFORM (the party)

NC for this and apologies if Q already asked. My quick search yielded no result.

Reform plan to undo the reversal of 2 child cap benefit. Are you now likely (or more likely) to vote for them? There have been endless threads about the welfare bill.

the school I went to was majority white and the small number of black and brown kids were treated just like everyone else.

I wonder if those black and brown kids would agree with you.

Probably not because the left and woke constantly tell them that they are victims and that because of institutional racism they will never succeed thereby destroying hope.

The real racists are the left and woke destroying hope by constantly bringing up skin colour, rather than a colour blind approach and judging people on the content of their character and achievements rather than the colour of their skin.

110k people claimed asylum in the UK last year. Not millions

In one year!

Yes that's right - all left wingers are racist - not Farage and Co

You said millions. I'm just pointing out that that's not factual - also - not everyone who claims asylum is granted it

Ever thought they may be trying to escape from the regimes over there?

So you want me to believe they’re all feminists who are only moving because they don’t like how the women are treated? Completely detached from reality

I didn’t say millions in one year and you haven’t included illegal migration that we don’t have a number on

Have you ever read the back story of someone trying to claim asylum? Or are you going to stick to the line that they are all coming over here to groom kids

Your friend @Moonshadowmoon rather disproves that argument. As do the highly successful people of colour I’ve met who would be happy to tell you about the racism they’ve encountered and had to overcome.

What you are saying is racist. You're doing nothing to dispel the idea that Reform voters are primarily attracted to the party because it normalises racism. Also, re your previous point, it isn't intelligent and educated women who vote Reform; quite the opposite. It's been found time and time again that the more formal education you have, the less likely you are to vote for right wing parties. I'm an educated and intelligent woman and I take exception to you telling me that should make me see the sense in voting for a quasi fascistic party.

This type of post always makes me laugh. Typical playground behaviour.

Where have I said “all” ? Debating this would be a lot easier if you didn’t just call anyone who disagrees racist and then put words in their mouth.

Have you ever read the story of a grooming gang victim or the story of a women's life in Afghanistan? Bearing in mind the majority moving here from Afghanistan are male.

Just because YOU don’t see it or experience it doesn’t mean racism wasn’t rife when we were growing up.

A colour blindness approach doesn’t help anyone either. The best thing is to embrace peoples differences and cultures along with who they are as a person.

I certainly wouldn’t want to live in an all white country. We need immigration. If Reform got in power we would sadly have to consider moving country as the concept is terrifying.

Yeah let's pick on the unemployed and disabled, immigrants too - folk at the bottom of the pile - people like me when folk like Farage sups his pint and pretends to be man of the people when he's an out of touch multi millionaire who doesn't even live in the UK

Doesn't he live in the UK?

Surely to be an MP here the individual should actually live here.

But you are racist - you’ve said yourself that the only reason you’re voting for Reform is to keep brown men out of the country and that you haven’t even looked into their other policies. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Why would I want to "debate" someone who thinks male asylum seekers are coming over here to groom children?

My original point was my white relative who went to a majority Pakistani school had the crap beaten out of him and how nothing like that happened to the non white kids in my majority white school.

I like how it’s been switched round to how the non white kids MUST have suffered somehow absolutely no mention or sympathy for my white relative

Not the same person - and I don't appreciate the accusation. It's the year of my birth. I don't have two devices

How embarrassing that you need to resort to accusing people of being the same person just because of two digits in their user name

ChillingWithMySnowmies · 21/02/2026 11:10

i would rather poke my own eye out with a pointy stick than vote for anything Farage has a hand in.

I hate him and everything he stands for to the point i will literally turn off the radio/TV if any Party Political Broadcast comes on.

I find it absolutely beyond the bounds of decency that anyone will give that man and his bullshit party any consideration or air time.

Nasty Racist, anti-semitic bullying misogynist.

KatiePricesKnickers · 21/02/2026 11:11

@LoveHearts69 ’We need immigration’.

We need high quality immigrants who can pay for themselves.
Up to now, most of the immigrants have been low paid and are a cost to the economy.

It’s not embarrassing I apologise if it’s not true but there are people who do that

We need controlled immigration. At the end of December last year unemployment in the UK reached its highest level for 5 years. We don't need low skilled workers from other countries filling these jobs.

🤣 I didn’t call myself intelligent, no. Although I have apparently taken more time to read the Reform policies than you have.

It wouldn’t be very inventive to create multiple accounts with the same number in would it. I’m also not from Scotland. Sorry to ruin your theory but mumsnet can confirm we are different people. Would recommend you taking the time to read the policies of the party you are apparently voting for instead of creating conspiracy theories from mumsnet names 😅

Your white relative got assaulted on the daily for years by Pakistani people and no Pakistani people in your school were ever treated poorly? That doesn't diminish the lived experiences of people who encounter racism daily

I lived near a shop run by Pakistani people in my last flat. There were people barred for casual every day racism and worse. I was in the shop one day and the owner was smacked in the face - this is what some people need to deal with simply because of the colour of their skin
