Are you now more likely to vote for REFORM (the party)

NC for this and apologies if Q already asked. My quick search yielded no result.

Reform plan to undo the reversal of 2 child cap benefit. Are you now likely (or more likely) to vote for them? There have been endless threads about the welfare bill.

I won't be voting Reform.

Look, I'm a teacher and whether we think it's ok for people on benefits to have lots of kids is irrelevant. The biting reality of the cap was that kids (who made no decision about whether they came into this world or not) were badly affected. It's just too much when I have to feed my pupils so that they can learn because they're literally going hungry. This just showed me that the wrong people were being punished.

Also Jenrick is a questionable character himself. He was Secretary of State for Housing and didn't do much to solve those issues. Alongside this, he's already been Secretary of State for Health and Secretary of State for Immigration and he didn't exactly do those jobs well, so not sure why anyone would magically trust him now.

Nope

Hazlenuts2016 · 18/02/2026 21:48

Vote for the man who wiped billions of the economy through Brexit, only to repackage a bunch of tories and ruin the country once and for all? This is the man who said our NHS would be stronger and everything better if brexit went through. He is a fraud and a bully. Reform is being run by billionnaires. Does anyone regard £75000 spent on flags in Notts by Reform as good use of public money? Or the millions spent on a waste consultant in Leics?

Am I living in an alternative universe or is this thread somehow discussing how Jimmy Saville might be bad but he’s not the worst?

That was not on my bingo card for this year. Or ever, really.

I think the question was why isn’t Reform wanting to prosecute Jimmy Saville? Is it because he is white?
I think the most obvious answer is because he’s been dead 15 years.

I’m not so sure about this..in an interview situation wouldn’t it better to have no track record and great answers like reform than an absolutely diabolical recent track record and answers that contradict themselves and just saying ‘I’ve been clear’ and ‘far right’ over and over again?

They do have a track record. Leicester and Kent councils, and their leader in Wales being imprisoned for selling secrets to Russia. For a party that's only been around a few years that's pretty impressive.

Edited: Taking bribes from Russia obviously! He didn't know any secrets fortunately...

Unforgettablefire · 18/02/2026 21:53

I won’t be voting again there’s not one of them can be trusted.

I think it was “why do Reform only care about Asian abusers?”

The answer to that seems to be that they’re “worse,” but I didn’t realise we were ranking paedophiles and sex abusers.

I would spend that money on fixing all the potholes which are knackering the suspension of everyone's cars in my local area, can't imagine its worse in Nott's than it is the rest of the country ? Which would you rather, seeing a flag flying or not having to cough up for shocks, struts and springs on your car ?

No chance

Just to warn you: the IQ-free Nadine Dorries has now arse-licked her way into the Reform party, so if you happen to suffer the misfortune of having her as a candidate and actually decide to vote for her....

Serves you right. 😂😂😂

I'm not voting Reform but I like Nadine Dorries - I hope she gets a seat in the House of Lords.

Not in national Government, Labour most certainly do and it’s terrible.

I would vote for the Monster Raving Loony party before even considering voting for reform.

If I had just come back to Britain from a long stay away I would assume the monster raving loony party ARE in power 🤣🤣

slumdogminulet · 18/02/2026 22:00

I could never vote Reform. Have no issues with lifting the two-child benefit cap so not a vote winner. Also the stupidity of doing away with net zero for short term reduction in energy bills is mind boggling.

Lol. OK... not in national government. More power will provide the moral compass. I'm sure they'll be outstanding.

OMG, Reform really is the party where shite Tories go when they become unelectable.🙈

Blogswife · 18/02/2026 22:09

Absolutely not . I wouldn’t vote for them if the promised everyone a million quid . Never ever !

Yes it appears we’ve been ranking them and their victims based on ethnicity for a very long time, much to the country’s shame.

I'll tell you who the f-ing traitors are – the Left-wing c*s who have used mass immigration to destroy our national identity. A speechwriter for Blair said their plan was to "rub the right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date." Well they have achieved their goal. I no longer feel English or British.

The Left have also taught us to hate ourselves and be ashamed of our history and culture. Radio 4, for example, can't even mention Jane Austen without linking her to colonialism in some way. And then they have the nerve to talk about conscription so we can oppose Putin! It's hilarious. I wouldn't lift a toenail to defend this dump. I have nothing to defend. The Left have got what they wanted. They've created a new country. They have succeeded where Pol Pot failed. This is Year Zero – a new nation with a new culture. Fine. Well done you Oxbridge leftists. You have got a new country, and YOU can go and defend it.

Are the Conservative Party left wing cunts now? If so, how come Reform are taking the worst and most ineffectual of them, especially wrt mass migration, these days?Confused

Yep. Not great, but not psychopaths who'll sell whats left of the country to the highest bidder (US, Russia, China, or a bit to all three).

You think that Reform will 'maybe' form an outstanding government?? Just..... how?!

"my boyfriend is always cheating on me and spending my money but I'm sure now I'm pregnant he will get his act together. He promised he would 😍".
I do know people like that.
